we are leaving our villa on Saturday and don't need our great gardener. If anyone is needing a gardener in AR let me know. He is a great guy, always smiling , great worker ,knows everything about all his plants , treatments etc and never shouts and screams into his phone!!! ( a bonus! ) He keeps front and back garden spotless , we never have to tell him what to do , he treats every garden as 'his' garden and 'his' plants :) A real gem .

well, I'm feeling much better its not just me been narky , thank you for all your replies ladies :) I will look into the garden business , when we came here it was just sand, and we put the grass, plants, pebbles ,the lot , if anything its the garden that will sell the house!!!! anyway have got no intention of leaving everything behind , will offer it to the LL , sell it all , or switch off the watering system. sarahlou123, it won't be possible for me to answer any questions, have you seen the film Liar Liar? That would be me :))

My last landlady was a right cow. I loved it when the agent didn't bother to show and the viewer asked if there were any problems with the property :D The final straw came when the agent arranged for 6 viewers to come at different times in one afternoon. I quoted the terms of my contract at the LL and told her she could wait until we were out and sell her own sodding property. If I had a decent LL I would do as others suggested and allow viewings at very specific times only. :) I am exactly there !! LL is ok, but full of s@@t ! tells us one thing, and then I find out of myself its a load of rubbish!! so he is taking us for a pair of idiots; my dh is ,I think 'in denial' of the whole thing , so I have now taken over the communication with LL and on a mission to get out of here asap , and as you say SD, let him try to sell it empty. it is also advertised as having 'beautiful manicured gardens and plants ' OURS! I told this to the landlord and he has never replied; I pity the poor people that are going to buy here ,there is so much going on 'behind the scenes' and both LL and agent are trying to cover it up together.

Thank you ladies , we don't have any sort of agreement concerning visiting hours, I get a text asking sometimes for the same day, sometimes for the day after, most of the time I say yes, but when I can't, I offer a time that works for me. late evenings don't work for us as we have 2 kids, so I try to take the visits in the daytime when everyone is at work and school , just getting a bit fed up of it all. what's really bugging me, is i know LL is taking advantage of us being in here with our stuff, beautiful gardens etc to do the visits, this property cannot be sold until major work is done, which will not be done until we are out! Last week when it was raining we had a visit, and the agent spent 5 mins inside the front door, tutting and mumbling because I asked them to take their shoes off !!!! I have asked the agent to visit outside first ,then take off shoes and visit inside, not in the front door, visit downstairs, then out the back door, visit garden, then upstairs with sandy shoes!!!! This is still our home right? while we are still here , my home , my rules !!!! I'm still made to feel like a b @@@h :(

Hi! Welcome to Dubai! I think there is a group that meets in motor city, I can't really help as my 2 kids are a little older, but I'm sure there is a motor city group of mums, I think they have a Facebook page. I'm sure some other ladies ' in the know ' on here will be able to give you a bit more information :)

Thank you for the quick reply! Do you know if someone from there will come to the house? I have about 15 in total , old style ,really heavy, I don't think I would fit them all in the car.
