why they just do not adjust the public holidays to be the same for everyone??? sorry to say, but most of governement employees work less anyway...

Hi Miss Honey and welcome to the Club! I was exactly in a same situation, I was kicked out of my house and could not find a new place in short time and with the actuel rents :-( So I decided to stay with friends and store all my stuff. I used TMS (Total Moving Storage) and was very happy with them. The rate was very reasonable and I could negotiate a little bit. The have done my 4bed+maids villa in only 1 day! They were organized, friendly and I would definitly recommend them!

Hello... not too sure what your budget is but I viewed some great propeties in those areas on Sunday. The asking prices were K250 to K275/annum. I dealt with an estate agent called Sadik... his number is 0505521636. Good luck! Thanks a lot. However, my budget is very limited, should not be more than 200k for a 4 bedroom. I know it is very hard to find these days, however I am still positive that there is the villa waiting for us.

hey all, I am desperatly house hunting and wondering if I will ever find the right place with the right price. I have been in touch with many real estate agents which did not understand what I am searching for and I wasted lots of time :-( does anyone had great experience and recommand someone? or does anyone know of a 4 or 5 bedroom villa upcoming in umm suqeim, al sufouh with a nice private garden and for reasonable rent? thanks.

Thanks ladies. Yes, there is a 5bedroom vacant. However, the rent is 280k, so way over my budget. However, the lady mentionnend that there is only private garden in the front and it is not so big!? Anyway, too much money :-( So if anyone knows about a 4 bedroom western style villa with garden and reasonable rent in Al Sufouh/Umm Suqueim/Barsha please let me know. Thanks.

Hi there are 5 bedrooms 4 upstairs and 1 downstairs which we use as a playroom. We have a maids room and laundry room next to garage outside and a 70m square garden at side of house ( roughly guessed by hubbie lol ) plus an area at front of house and a back patio area onlooking the communal gardens. We have a pool gym squash court and sauna and a games room with pool table. The maintenance is excellent and dewa bills are reasonable too. We pay 180'000 but we live on the main rd side I'm not sure how much they are asking for the back ones but I think around 220- 240 I know someone who is moving out this week so there is def one coming up for rent :-) Should be someone in office today if u have no luck let me know and I will get the number of the man we dealt with off my husband. We love living here even thou its not a posh modern villa and our kids have lots of friends to play with in the compound :-)) thanks a lot! how many are ensuite and how many do have to share a bathroom? Your outside area/garden is private, right? what about the AC, each for one storey? Do you have lots of daylight, is it bright? I have just tried to call them on this number 04-4037700 and yes there was response. But there will only be vacancy next year if I am lucky :-( So, why they are putting a "to lease" board there???

Hi I live there have done for 2 yrs. what do u want to know? :-)) great :-) how big are the villas, how many bedrooms? is there a maids room, pool, private garden (how big approx.) etc. etc. any idea on actual rents? I tried to call Asteco, but there is no reply :-(
