Samsonite for me- bought a full set recently and it is great. We where getting to the stage that evertime we went on holiday we ended up buying a new case and my DH finally got fed up with us looking like a bunch of travelling gypsies with every colour under the sun so we invested in a full set - very happy and also it pays off to look at quality becasue airport these days tend to be a place where things do go missing if the case is not secure!!!

Banyan Tree all the way. We went for our Honeymoon and it was fantastic. You also have the benefit of 3-4 other hotels close by plus the beach has some cheap but amazing restaurants there. Really recommend it!!!! It is in the Laguna Beach Complex so if this is not the right one for you there are some other hotels - the actual Laguna Beach is very family orientated however the rest you can feel like you are getting away from it.

welcome to the world according to Nakheel - they have no idea how to treat people and is giving Dubai a bad name!!!! Speak to 7Days and am sure they might jump into action!! Good luck and keep smiling!!!

I have bought a few of these deals but it seems the deals are getting worse and worse although I would have thought they would get better over the summer. Plus had a couple of issues with a couple of them plus the prices have been clearly uplifted so the discount seems a lot more. Take the cobone deal for the iPad 2. You can get it cheaper in Carefour and it is a gulf spec, not a US spec!!!! Not too sure if all of these companies will last the rest of the year though!! good for us though as there are some great deals although most are only valid for a short time

I think you can buy it now but you are paying double if not triple the real cost!!! Google serach iPad2 and there will be a few places that come up - I am going to wait for the legit ones to come and pay the right price. Going to give my DH my old iPad when they do come and upgrade!!

generally direct with the hotel to be honest. Some lovely hotels down there - Hilton (on the beach not in central RAK) the Cove or the Banyan Tree. You feel like you are on holiday although you are only an hour or so from Dubai!!! Enjoy

I have just checked - the Ent have got 2 for 1 at the Park Hyatt (not Traitour) for Thai Kitchen and also the Wafi Brunch for all their restaurants. The Thai Kitchen one is amazing value with the 2 for 1 and is an amazing brunch!!!! I also agree though, Saffron is fantastic as is Al Qasr

Either or - you can take a friend which is great or if you are having something by yourself they simply stamp it or sign it and then the next treatment is free. I have been using it for 4 years now and get my money back in the first treatment (Spa) Great for a quiet ladies day out!!! We went at the weekend with 6 of us and we used 3 vouchers, had the treatment, had lunch and back to DH before they had missed us!!!

We have just booked a 4 day trip to the Maldives and used the new Entertainer Travel. We go on Friday until Tuesday and saved, on the best rate, over $500 so the book has paid for itself. They also have 2 for 1 vouchers for hotels all over the place and with a chepa flight and then discount off the hotel room, save a fortune!!!

received mine today. Looks great and seems that they have now split the book into 2 books. 1 for Dubai and 1 for Abu Dhabi. Some great ones still in there with a load of new ones including le royal meridian. Went for a massage there and it was fabulous!! They also have the Grosvenor House Spa in there as well this year!!! Loads more - I will have a look at others but am having a nail thing tomorrow at N Bar!! Cant wait!!
