Wellington DSO is also wait listing many grades including FS2 and Year 2, this was just before their Easter break.
The situation is desperate this year, worse than in the past few years. I think when you are offered a school place the option should only be open for a limited period and a substantial deposit ought to be paid to secure that place, then people down the wait list will get offers sooner.

Hi I think you'll just be searching schools to where they have places rather than the kdha report. You will need a fs1 for your 3 yr old as well?
10 min from mirdiff on the emirates rd there is a DSO community which is a lovely family community and within there, there is a gems dso Wellington school they cover from fs1 to high school so all your children can go there. They are on the web give them a call it's a new school so you have more of a chance in getting in as they are having more classes etc this year. My children are starting there as we have moved up this way.
You also have two other communities called falcon city and the villa where I live ....lovely houses and only 10 to 15 min drive for our husband to work.

I was planning on them starting school in September, as we're probably moving out first week of June. Rather a long break I know.
Unfortunately I don't know anyone with kids who live in Dubai. Actually I can do some digging around. I beginning to get worried about the long waiting lists.
