Also it could be your Windows Vista is out of date- they stopped selling it 2010- so that could be affecting it. here's how to check what version of IE is being used Open Internet Explorer for the desktop, tap or click the Tools button, and then tap or click About Internet Explorer and it will show you what version you are using. <em>edited by admin on 11/08/2013</em>

We do regularly check all browsers for compatability- and we did an extra check after the message last week- and all was fine- please check your browsers are up to date and the latest versions... you can let us know what browser and what version of it you are using and we can see if that is the issue. thanks EW Admin

Dear Naiyyar, a couple of ladies mentioned this last week- we have not changed anything on the site so it could be your browser... if you can let us know what kind of machine and the browser you are using we can look into it- we asked last week but no-one replied with which browser they were using. If you can let us know then we can investigate... you could also try doing a hard refresh by pressing ctrl F5 and see if that returns you to normal. Thanks EW Admin

Hi there! You can supposedly fill the form in online yourself... here's the link http://www.emiratesid.gov.ae/en/services/services-for-individuals.aspx We haven't got an account so we can't check for you if after you've filled the form out you still have to take it to the typing centre or not- maybe you can let us know how you get on... it does say though "To fill the application form for free and by your own (Click Here) or please follow the following steps: *Submit the required documents to one of the accredited typing offices" Which sounds like it's an either fill the form in online or go to the typing centre. For more information about some of the queries if you read the rules of the forum it is all explained there... Especially why some news stories get deleted. Dragonmart has everything you need... tons of stalls selling beads, chain, charms, attachments etc etc. Seems to be where most jewellery makers out here get their things from! Go in the very front entrance and there's one place that looks a bit like a department store on the left and they have 2 units in there that sell beads etc. Hope that helps!

Dear All, Just to let you know about the recent issues in accessing the site. Our hosts are experiencing difficulty with a DDoS (denial of service) attack on the server. Our website is totally intact. There is no virus and there has been no breach of security. The server is simply being bombarded with fake data to the extent that it has had to be taken down. Measures are in progress to combat the attack and it will pass. This may include having to enter a Captcha code to access the site temporarily. We are sorry for short-term inconvenience this is causing. Once again, we must underline there is no risk to the integrity of the system. It is simply an exercise in forcing websites to shutdown by hitting them with more data than they can cope with. Why do the spammers do it? We have simply no idea!
