ordered my elderly mum chocs and toffees from thorntons via amazon for christmas shes just texted me to say they arrived, opened, half eaten and then roughly sellotaped back up. last year i got my son and dil an advent from m&s here and half the chocs were missing from behind sealed doors. what is going on!

someone told me pick up the dog doo doo and put it in the hole and cover it and they wont dig there again, is this true, we pick up ours and dispose of as sticking it in the garden just seems to make it smelly especially when the watering system goes on, any ideas please.

just wondering where woof groomers are based. we use tailwaggin at the moment they come to our house ( the only ones that come to our area ) and they have been fine so far. they charge 200 dirhams for a small dog. yorkie size.

if they build a theme park near ar does that mean it will be full of builders trucks and noise and traffic, wonder how 'near' it will actually be. we were thinking of moving their in a year or so.

thanks cornish pixie, its a date with me and vox. you are right about the price of tickets here, we pay 35 at mcc for regular tickets - my brother in the uk pays anything from 45 dirhams a ticket upwards depending on day time and which movie house they go to. the last time i went to the movies in the uk we had to go so early to buy the tickets, then queue in a line for upward of an hour - then when they opened the doors everyone ran **** for leather for a seat, then the ushers came along and made people shuffle up to make room for others - it wasnt my best movie experience ( altho i did enjoy the movie at the time fred claus ) i much prefer to go to the movies here.

we have always enjoyed patong beach - patong beach hotel. this year we went to koh samui - chaweng beach and didnt like it as much - we wont go back, the hotel was better but the sea was not nice it was rough and grey and the sand is shingle not white powder sands and the island has a feel of quite run down.

some one, just somewhere just has to try to make you unhappy or sad or just plain miserable, ( by the way its not succeeding ) someone who feels its their job to pass judgement - u know the sort whose life seems to be so fulfilled with making others feel bad. - the sad little lot with their hum drum lives, hiding behind their net curtains passing. judgements on all and sundry. they dont know you but feel they have a right to pass judgement on your life. ha ha, as to what i am on sandyd. loving life and being grateful for what i have and rising above. the weathers good. my life feels good right now and yey hey santas coming soon. :) zippedy doo day zippedy day, my oh my what a wonderful day. plenty of sunshine coming my way, zippedy doo daa zippedy day :)

replacing mahi mahi is the new W GRILL and ctail bar, not been - but if mahi mahi was anything to go by it could be very good. if you are looking for a fondue on sundays and mondays at vintage its unlimited any of their fondues with unlimited vino for around 125 dirhams. weds in vintage its the unlimited cheese and meats platter ( some of the oinking variety too) with unlimited vino and thats around 175 dirhams been to both of these and they are delicious. carters is always a good meal and live band from around 9.30pm too. sevilles is great spanish tapas and spanish music as well. if you have a wafi card i think you get 20 % off as well. has anyone been to the new friday fridge, is it still the same format as peanut butter jam with bean bags etc.

certainly having a difficult upbringing can bring with it in adult hood a host of problems - insecurity, not trusting fully, finding it hard to accept unconditonal love from partner/spouse, finding it hard to love yourself. but you can work through it all and decide not to be the same as your parents. its hard work but you can do it and you can be a better person for all the trials and tribulations. if it werent for them i wouldnt be the woman i am today and in some small way i am actually grateful for that because today i actually like who i am and i loved being a loving parent and grandparent all the more. they fill my heart with so much love and joy.

Anytime would have helped :( - They were never 'there for' any of us siblings at any time. Please be there for your kids as they say its easier to build strong people then to repair broken ones. oh summerdream ditto. i look at my parents and think ye i love them in spite of stuff because they are my parents but would i choose to have them as my friends if i had to pick any - NO. i have a much different relationship with my own kids, not sure if they would agree it was better or they were smothered only they can say, but i was sure there for them 24/7 whenever where ever and i hope one day they look back and reflect on how good it was.

When i was 12-16y.o. I had a a troubled teenhood and I whish i had more support from my mom. Wouldn`t have made so many mistakes. oh ditto wild mint, mine couldnt even be bothered to go to parents evenings and i had to go in place of them to my much younger brothers parents evenings. and they think they did alright by me - its all been down to my hard work and strong will and character.

altho i have seen more trees this year and decorations and a lot earlier than ever here, i feel decidely down about the run up. for one of the first times ( apart from my first couple of years here ) i feel really homesick and miserable. i have my tree up but i feel like taking it down and forgetting about it all. ikea is already moving other stuff into the christmas section, it felt like it was all over there yesterday. or maybe its just me being hormonal/menopausal :(
