He turns 6 late june! I did met the head and special learning teacher who thought he was completely fine and needs more practice!! I have decided i won't keep him in the same class again. I am searching for a british school where he can join year one ! for his confidence ! While doing KG2 in US. I still feel something fishy with this teacher !!! Its her last year in the school, i believe she was asked to leave though

Have spoken to his teacher after seeing his report how aggressive was highlighting his writing !! after long chat with her i knew that she wanted to give him a private lessons which consider one to one after school, it seems she offers these private tutoring to other students at the class and she said this is confidential !! If she write such a report no school will except him. I will speak to the head of primary and see!! ;)

Gigi I am mother of a dyslexic boy. How old is your daughter? I would strongly recommend taking her to the Brain & learning 04-4534170. My son did brain training around 2 years ago and this was life changing for him. They deal with the root cause of the problem, whereas schools can only deal with the symptoms by putting support in place. I am an educational psychologist and my advice to parents like you is to pursue brain training. Good luck! I did took her there, but the program seeks attended for the whole week which we couldn't manage while having other children and cometments …otherwise they are amazing !!! on the other ha

She is 13 years old in a private school in dubai. What is the best why to ease homework on them. My daughter is an artist, but she is not taking art at the moment because she needs to go to support class at that time.

There a coffee shop in Mirdiff serving coffee with camel milk. Alternative to milk is Soya milk. Or simply take your small size camel milk with you to the coffee shop where they will make it for you. I did this with starbucks !!!! Ice cream i found it in a small shop in the old market near diera creek side . where they sell the spices and herbs. Good luck edited by Gigi on 06/11/2013

Thank you very much for your feedback. My child is offered a place at Reception and she is only 4 years old. I am wondering if she better join the Fs1 ?? Or go to Fs2 ?? FS aged 4 sounds like the correct year group for your child. When is her birthday? Unless there is a compelling reason not to, most schools keep children within their correct year group. FS2

I went last week to Ritz, and I was not impressed at all with the afternoon tea time . The scones were very bad. They used to be one of the best before. I have tried the one & only the palm and it was nice and different.
