Last year we tried out the buffet at Al Mahara , the Sea Food place in Souq Waqif. It was . I think , 90 qr per person and they had quite an interesting variety . It wasnt as varied as the Ritz's of course and no where near as posh but it wasnt too bad .

Disa 1975 , It depends on how many children you have , their ages and how much space you need . There are 2 and 3 bedroom flats . They have an ok kitchen and 2 bathrooms . There is one master bedroom and 2 balconies . The flats ( and villas) are fully furnished and the furniture ,in my opinion , is pretty neutral . The facilities are excellent : 2 huge pools , 2 gyms , a supermarket , a cinema , hairdressers for men & women , tennis court , basket ball court , squash court , a bakery , a dry cleaners , a florist an electronics store ....... Again , hope this helps .

The flats in Beverly Hills AlRayyan are in the 11,000 -13,000 range . The villas are going for 18,000 . Hope this helps .

I went to a cooking class with Gill once and it was great ! I had a good time and even came out having learnt a couple of dishes ( Im useless in the kitchen )

I hired a service company to deal with all this . Everything was done in a week . I have no idea what the steps involved were but it was done with minimum hassle and minimum cost . Their name is Future Gate and their number is 44677801.

There is also Beverly Hills Al Rayyan . Four Bedroom plus maids room are going for 18,000 QR . The compound has excellent facilities and is very kiddie friendly . It is packed with cars though . So if your children are smaller you might want to accompany them when they are going to the park etc....
