same, same. Why does it need to be repeated? :) edited for my bad grammar :) edited by Saltire on 20/03/2011 I take it to mean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hear,_hear Quite like it. :) Can't stand [i'>With Regards[/i'>, as it sounds so... Without meaning? By definition, to consider or think of someone or something in a specified way ([i'>to regard[/i'>), should I not need to specify in what way it is being done, exactly?

Anyone know if this stuff really works like the ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SklhZO-MCE8 On second thought, that was slightly heartless. Poor lady. But point taken. ;)

Is it a two-part mascara or just one? (The Max Factor). Hi, Sandy Dogg. It's a one part mascara as seen here http://glamsberry.blogspot.com/2011/01/max-factor-false-lash-effect-waterproof.html (a quick google result).

Spent some of my Amber points for Lancome Hypnose after reading the recommendations here earlier this year - but will not swap my old favorite for it, though. What is now being called "False Lash Effect" (waterproof) by Max Factor is still the best IMHO. Probably different lashes have different needs. :)

Im on the hunt ( online) for good quality towels that will last years and look expensive. What is the difference between Turkish and Egyptian cotton towels? Which one is best? http://www.gfsupplies.com/ I'm quite sure their deliveries would meet some key demands of yours (online, good quality), yet looking expensive is a tad a matter of taste. Also, I am uncertain as to their terms (conditions)... [i'>ETA[/i'> Was not able to add a direct link (and probably this thread already provided a satisfactory response to op's request), but to have a look at some good quality towels that weather the Dubai test, navigate to Linen-> Bath Linen-> Towels. We've been happy with our linen (both bed and bath) by this brand. edited by jophiel on 21/03/2011

You can always try clearing your cache and if that doesn't work, updating Adobe Flash? Hmm, did not do the trick for me. Nor did resetting Safari. Appears my MacBook Air(head?) is the only one having this prob, as YouTube videos on DH's table top (iMac) show perfectly fine. Should ask him to run a check on his Air, just to get a better grip. It's some years older than mine. However, it has been decided that our next check run willl only have to be to the Green Mubazzarah Park (in close proximity to mountain Jebel Hafeet). Will have to get back to this one later. There was a somewhat irresistible article (according to some influential members of our little family) in Thursday's National (p. 8) and just had to give in to the pressure... As they say, “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence”. Oh well. Probably the same goes for lightening up my pitch-black YouTube, too. Thank you for your help! Seems I'm not the only one struggling with this. However shallow the gifts of YouTube might appear at times, there is a lot that makes a difference as well.

I've tried YouTube on both Firefox and Safari on my Mac without much success. Videos play for a bit then freeze as if buffering but never restart. I have no idea what the issue is. Oh. Wonder if it is a matter of YouTube not being safe, or something else. Got mine working through Firefox, though, for the time being. Just not as convenient as it would be through Safari...

Beauticians and technicians here just aren't properly trained. Back home... Anyway, not a fair comparison. Since relocating, must have lost altogether 6 toenails after going to the local salons (yes, several!). Nails just went black and/or started growing inside due to a wrong filing/cutting technique+lack of proper hygiene. Ultimately, the nails either fell off entirely, or, they had to have a radical cut - in both cases ended up having a set of quite deformed toenails. Had to stop going to these nail spas altogether. It looks much brighter now. Only have my eyebrows and hair done nowadays, enough of problems with them already...

Sony vaio, Windows 8 upgraded FOC on line, AVG free anti virus thing, found far superior to Norton (paid). Would love a MAC but worried i wouldn't be able to master the darn thing. Hi, Sticky Wicket. With Macs the pleasant surprise was they're no-brainers. The brainy part (as in being user-friendly) [i'>was[/i'> up to Apple to figure out. Would I ever miss my old pc times, I still have an IBM lenovo ThinkPad, which does exactly that - it THINKS and is rather slow at that. And acts complicated, hard to get, makes me wait. But other than that, once I trick it to do its business, it's a perfect professional (or good enough for government work, go figure). Wish Lovelly happy shopping, still! You'll be richer for the experience.

Get an Apple Mac. I agree - I'm a converted PC user. With Macs you don't need anti virus. With both of you. Nothing to do with religion, though, but everything to do with comfort. My last two (!) HP netbooks just fell apart, conveniently. And couldn't be bothered by the messy pc software install processes any longer. Love my MacBook Air 11"!! But I had my fun with pc's as long as it lasted. It's all about timing, I guess. ;)
