I made one with HSBC (you need to hold account or card with them), but no idea if there's a limit on travel days as I needed less than 30 days anyway. There's contact info on their website. Added: I know the no. of trips is not restricted. edited by Kermi on 16/01/2011

Then check out Mexx, as you can buy the long skirt and jacket separately in different sizes. I mostly buy in Sahara Centre or DCC, but you might find some in Mexx MoE. So far, I found suits in plain black, beige, grey, navy and jeans colour. But as said, hit and miss.

I sometimes find them at Mexx. It's a hit and miss, though, and can differ from shop to shop.

Main difference to a debit card is, that with a credit card, your account is only debited once per month with the accumulated amounts and that you can choose to pay off the credit card balance in installments. (Best to read the terms & conditions regarding interest rate in this case.) edited by Kermi on 11/01/2011

I'd advise you to visit a specialized clinic. These 3 places are always recommended on the board: DGFC (www.dgfc.ae) Conceive in Sharjah (www.conceiveuae.net) Fakih Clinic on Beach Rd. (www.fakihivf.com) Make a search on here under "IVF Dubai" and you'll find more info/reviews.

On the Dubai police website, you'll find on the left side under "About Us" "Location Map". Click on "Location Map" and you'll find listing of police stations.

Maybelline Collosal Volum (waterproof) -- I always rub my eyes unconsciously so mascaras are not my bestfriend but I don't get panda eyes with maybelline collosal. I love it. Second that (using the non waterproof version in yellow tube & it stays all day long). Was using Hypnose from Lancome and YSL before, but the Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express doesn't dry out so fast and lasts much longer.

There's an area with lots of furniture shops in Sharjah next to Al Falah Plaza on Wahda Street (a bit set back from the road) where you could find those.

As far as I am aware, there are different protocols how to stimulate the follicle growth. Did your doc change the protocol once he monitored that you don't response? I'd contact the Dubai Gynaecology and Fertility Center (DGFC) in Health Care City to get a second opinion. If you make a search on here, you will find some more infos/reviews. Good luck! Added: Some women I know used acupuncture during their IVF cycle and responded much better to the stimulation. Maybe you can discuss this option with the clinic as well. (On this board, Dr. Ou comes highly recommended.) edited by Kermi on 08/01/2011

I have the sleepy wrap, baby bjorn and Mei Hip. The sleepy wrap is fantastic for newborns, the Mei hip gives excellent support when carrying larger babies/toddlers. From where did you get the sleepy wrap, lemondrops?

We had also gel put in cupboards, rooms etc. and the pest control company said it's safe, no need to leave apartment or clear out cupboards. But then again, it didn't smell at all. Maybe contact them and ask which product they used and take it from there?

thank u that really helps.... i always presumed it was closer to burjuman...:) :) It is, you can reach Meena Bazar also from Bur Juman side. You follow Khalid Bin Walid Street ('Bank Street") and turn right towards Dubai Museum. But as other posters said, parking is the problem.

I use a microwave size electric oven/grill combi as I don't like to use the gas oven. But seems it's not really suitable for baking then. Thanks for the advice to use a thermometer. Will try that next.

how wierd, I don't get that. I'm going to www.hsbc.ae and I get a new front page with a picture of family walking down a beach/shoreline plus some text on HSBC products I get the same page. Look at the upper right corner, there's a log on button (on grey-ish background). Otherwise, try to click on one of the products, i. e. "personal" under "HSBC Banking" and see if you can see the log on button now. edited by Kermi on 05/01/2011

You have to register at your nearest Primary Health Care Center, where also a lot of your antenatal appointments will take place. Here's a link with more info http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=100450 Antenatal package is 5,000 dhs at the moment. If you search on here under 'Al Wasl', you'll find lots of info.

I think it's different from person to person. Took Yasmin some time ago and had to stop it due to migraine like headaches. Can't you contact the manufacturer of Alesse and ask if there'a a similar product available for UAE market?

I live in Bur Dubai, and have already had one premature delivery, I am pregnant again. Where do I have to go to apply for the DOHMs health card, please? Is it near the Shangrila Hotel same as everyone else or does it differ according to area of residence? And whats the name of the place? Thanks. You have to register with the Primary Health Care Center next to your area of residence. No idea what that is for Bur Dubai, check out this link to see which center is close to you: http://www.dha.gov.ae/en/Facilities/HealthCenters/Pages/default.aspx
