I've had great work done by Monili Jewellers, Shop 58 Bld 4. Rarely go anywhere else now.
Ask for Vipul; he's a gun. 0504768659
And haggle. Always haggle. :-)
how much is acceptable to haggle to? it's one thing doing it over a hooky handbag in karama, but another entirely over diamonds!
Depends on the piece/stone.
But never EVER accept their offering price. This price will still be substantially less than the price you saw on the piece in the window [always is'> but you can still shave a few dhs off that as well. Suggesting this isn't a one-off purchase -- ie that you will be back for more goodies and will bring your friends! -- can also ease the way towards a kinder price tag. If you're not happy, walk away. Go and look at similar pieces at other shops [even Cara'> and compare prices. Make sure that the jeweller tells you just why the piece/stone costs what it does. He needs your business just as much as you want that piece of jewellery, remember!

Phone Emaar or Emrill. Emaar -- the developer -- may have access to the original fittings and Emrill is, of course, the company which manages a lot of properties on Emaar's behalf.
You could be lucky. Failing that, I would take a handle down to ACE and see if you can match it as closely as possible!
Good luck.
Dubai Garden Centre sells bonsai [already potted'> so I assume they also sell the pots themselves.
Failing that ... do you need pots with holes in the bottom [for watering purposes'>? If not, you could check out the pottery selection at the Antiques Gallery in Al Quoz. They have loads of small glazed pots at reasonable rates. And if you really need holes in the bottom, you could drill them in yourself, or get someone to do it for you. :)
