Speaking of dyed fruits - the Thai fruit kiosks in the malls (Dubai Mall, Ibn Battuta, etc). The guavas are dyed with green and red pigments & boiled in sugar. They claim it is organic. Don't like them at all! Doesn't even taste like guava. I'd rather just go to pinkberry's. :D

Im not sure what is worse though ... the shop that terrifies me is the Ibn Sana pharmacies in MOE and Dubai Mall.... I put one little toe over the front door and a horde of painted ladies descends on me like a pack and follow me around the shop pointing out things I dont need. I usually know exactly what I want and can get on fine on my own. I am happy to know that there is someone 30 feet away who I could call if neccessary but a team of extra limbs shuffling me around the shop made me crrrraaazzy. Last weekend I avoided them and headed into Carrefour only to find myself in an Ibn Sana lane with three people ready to pounce. I asked the first shadow to please leave me to shop in peace, and she scuttled off and joined the other two, who immediately took her place and wouldnt leave my side. I fled !! I am not sure how they train the staff in that pharmacy but it must be something like "If you see an expat woman, attack her with useless coo-cooing and she will be so grateful that she will spend bucketloads of cash" I know how to shop and may even have a phd in this field, and certainly dont need to be shadowed (especially by folk who have no product knowledge!) I like to shop in Debenhams where I can browse in peaceful blisss....... LOL... I agree!!!

Do things that make you happy... If visiting a doctor sooner would make you feel better, go for it! Go out more, meet new people. Maybe join some classes? Cookery / Make-up / Dance..... anything that you really enjoy. Get your mind off these thoughts and focus your energy towards positive activities. Go for the EW get-togethers. You ARE good enough for your husband. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. =) Like you said, he stood by you through thick and thin.

I don't think you are being unreasonable.... but at the same time he did it with good intentions and was expecting a different reaction from you. So maybe if you talk to him about how you appreciate his intent, he might cool off a little bit and understand why you're upset about the damage.

Their office is in the Media City. You can try visiting them and inquiring directly. I've won a couple of tickets from Dubai 92 in the past, but it was all online. They would ask me to come pick it up. Good luck!
