You need to clarify if you mean part time (as in less hours worked) or temporary / casual. In this part of the world many people get the two mixed up and call "temp employement" part time. For part time employment gratuity is calculated in the same way as a full time employee for casual work their is no gratuity / paid holidays etc.
Have you tried your class rep? Not sure if notice boards at school would work as I didn't even know their was one and my daughter is also in year 2. Unfortunately I can't hlep with the lift as I'm not in AR but many kids do live there.
