I think parents should be taking more responsibility for their children. Nowadays it's so easy to hand them over to someone else to look after and then they want to get upset when something happens to the children. I realise you cannot watch your child 24/7 but it is the parent's responsibility to ensure that their home is safe for children to be around.

Have a look on the website called meetup. I found a really great photography group on there and they have many other groups there as well.

It depends on your budget really. Ski Dubai in MOE is really fun or you can go for that flying thing in Mirdif City Centre. A lot of coffee shops have board games as well so you can always take them for lunch and some fun board games (there's a really nice restaurant called Crumbs in Motor City that I always go to). Something else that is fun and different, Cobone.com had vouchers for an "escape the room" experience which is really fun! Also have a look at some of the Dubai museums. They are usually very cheap, if not free to get into. The souks are also really great and if you feel like a road trip, why not go and explore some of the other emirates?

As far as I know the discount was valid until 1 March. We have a guy on our community Facebook page who very diligently reminded everyone that it is almost coming to an end.

I love going to the beach at night. I've discovered a couple of really quiet beaches in Jumeirah that I always go to to clear my mind or read.

Have you tried finding something that challenges him mentally? I have noticed before that giving smart children something that challenges them mentally often helps to distract them. Maybe it's just a case of not being stimulated enough? Please let is know how it goes!

I think there was a shop in Mirdif City Centre that sells maternity clothes. They might have maternity swimwear available or at least be able to direct you in the right direction. They're at the entrance by gate 3, I think on the first floor.

I can relate to what you're saying... My mother-in-law came to visit us for a week last year and I felt like I needed a vacation after that! Good luck with the rest of the time with the visitors!

Friends of mine moved into a 3 bedroom villa late last year and they are loving it! They're paying around 120K and the villa is really gorgeous. I also used to stay in the area and it really is a good area and relatively close to everything.

I once got my family those small sand bottles with the pictures of the camels in it and they loved it. At some places they'll even add a name for you. Else, my go-to is always dates. It's easy to find, shouts out Dubai and is always a winner with everyone back home.
