Has anyone done this? I have seen there is a lot available but we only want to sign a contract for 6 months at the moment as me and hubby changing jobs and want to see how it works. As it is closer to AD it would be better to life there. Has anyone an idea which agency I can call or has anyone a 3 bed appartment for rent (prefered with maids room)

Thanks very much for all your replies. Regarding the parking , can I not park somewhere outside and walk maybe 10 minutes? Can I pay a parking ticket for the whole day or is it like in Dubai, that I sometimes can only get one for 2 hours and need to check again. Any other opinions? Maybe positive experience.

Thanks very much. I will check out Little Learners tomorrow and Little Wonders. Maybe someone knows some other nurseries in this area too.

We recently thought about this too as life is getting really expensive nowadays especially with kids. We move here from the UK because the UK was also very expensive for us to raise children and you earn here quite a bit more. The weather was not a big deal. Recently we think quite often to move back to our home country (also in Europe) as we miss the seasons, snow, rain, the culture and history (actually of all european countries) and especially as we get good to very good education, health care, social benefits, child support .... for free. If we add all these things combined with the many unpaid overtime my hubby does here, we will be better off back home. The fact that I found a job now, has changed the situation a little bit as we can save money again and therefore we will stay for a while.

would prefer one with a mixture of different nationalities. I know, this got asked thousands of times but maybe there is still someone on the forum which is willing ;o) to help me. I will start work soon and therefore looking for a nursery. The ones in Bur Dubai, Karama (close where I am living) mainly have children from only one or two nationalities. Now I am thinking of dropping him off on my way to work , which will be in Internet City . What is a convient nursery on my way there and also with a reasonable price for 5 days from 8am to 3 pm? Ideally it should be closer to Bur Dubai as on some days I will work from home. Thought of Little Wonders or Little Lerners but not sure if there is a mixture of cultures. Hope someone can help me. TIA

Appletiser, thanks very much for this information. I thought it is much more expensive. Seems like the others I have checked. Wondering if you have had or still have your kids in BO and in which branch. Are the teachers in both branches mainly native speakers? Thanks again

Thanks, but do you roughly remember the fees. Term start is tomorrow and I assume they will be very busy. I would like to check out only the once which are affordable for us. Thought of New SAFA Nursery, too. There fees are on the website. Would like to have an idea so I can compare. Why was BO nothing for you?
