Thanks Dan Lou, of course I have a Marhaba map...I'd be totally lost without it. Although I'm a bit confused with the posts below, has the fingerprinting place changed location or the place we do medical too?

No Dan Lou, haven't been to DMBS at all. Good to know there 's more Aussie-US couples out there tho :) Working Girl, thanks for your feedback. We did go to Compass today in fact. The staff there were very friendly and the school had a good feel about it. For the money though I was still left wondering where it all goes, as the facilities were not that impressive. I know ASD has great facilities and we'd be paying about the same as at Compass. We live at the Pearl, so I guess I'm trying to figure out if ASD is worth battling the traffic on a daily basis.

so after getting blood type done (any clinic is fine I'm told) where do we go for the actual medical (blood tests and x-ray)? my little boy who is just over 3 and a half only has to have his blood type done, is that correct? do i need to take him with me to the medical/fingerprinting I go to as well, even if he doesn't have these things done?
