it s very often in France to call a doctor who come at home. I had few time call them when my husband had flue and few time for my daughter who could not visit the doctor and they are very efficient. I lived in Paris 15 years and we have exactly same system under name ''SOS medecin'''. In Dubai, this team also worked in Paris and they are highly qualified with hudge experience.. I will not hesitate to call them when needed . they have also their clinic in JLT. so think it s important to share this info when you can not go to the doctor. they are well known fm the french community as well. and it s day and night. thanks Sarah to have shared this info.

our neighbor Sri Lankan maid has a cousin that arrived Dubai a few days ago on a visit visa. She is 25 years old and has experience working day care in Sri Lanka as well as house cleaning and can cook Sri Lankan food (which is wonderful). If interested call Umali for more information. hi , thanks for all yr info. It was one meeting at 11am yesterday and they have duly informed about the increase of kids for year 4 to year 6 in a class and also increase of fees..... , they also show us how they will rebuild the school. one playground will be stopped during all work. as it will be summer, kids will more inside so it should be ok. and they can use another playground. .

agree with Amalwaleed. I had 2 Indonesian in 3 years even I am not muslim, and I was very very happy with them. they also cook very well. but be sure she is already married as single are back for holiday and never come back as they get married by their family. Also I never took agency as they provided beginner and young girls without any experience without experience and english basic.

we did the same 3 month ago with an Indian maid, and we finally decided to dont keep her due to lake of experience. we have just cancelled the entry permit, and she has found another job with Indian family . so yes it s possible. ,when you cancel she has to find a new sponsor or to leave the country after 30 days. hope it help you.

hi, if he is microchip, have you call other vet to find the owner. it took one week to my friend to find the owner of the persan cat found in spring. have you put picture in dubizzle ? in case you dont find owner, contact ''friends of animals'' they can advertize for you and try to rehome . tks.

have been contacted by a lady who found a beautiful long hair black female cat on Sheik Zayed road , 4th interchange, on the side of the tesjeel car place but she has to run accross from the other side which is the beach side, amazing amber/yellow eyes. very friendly . no microchip. please call zero five zero seven one four seven four three one . <em>edited by nath on 31/01/2012</em>

just to remind you that there is free spay/neuter as fm wednesday to al Barsha clinic for stray cats. all month of feb. so you should book her to spay her or at least to ask when she can be spayed .... , have a good day.

I have been one month ago and when we asked for multiple visas they said that they dont do it anymore and we have to ask to Oman consulat in Dubai. so you can only apply one one visa at each time. cost aed 200 , and aed 50 for those who have already the visa. hope it had help you. have a good day.

just got her employement visa. ticket booked . it s her first time to Dubai, he is flying fm Calcuta I have different version of the procedure : does I need to go through Indian consulat ? or do my maid need to get a clearance on her visa in India ? if someone can share her experience as i read previousy threads but they are old. thanks a lot

i am going tomorrow to talk to a manager. i need to sort out of this issue as landlord will never reply. map fm nakeel and tenancy contract with number of rooms should be enought. If landlord has not paid tax, they have to catch him but not via me... !!! thanks for your reply .

no we live in a house in Jumeirah Island, we provided the plan of Nakeel which shows bedrooms.. !!! but as we rent directly with a landlord, they asked the mapland reference which is given to the landlord when he bought the propertie.. so may be it s to control the landlord..., anyway no luck for me.. as i dont know how i will catch the landlord who is a ghost... !!! rrrrr....

A cat was shot 12 times by an air rifle in Al Barsha 2 and 3 area. The vet said he must have been held down and been shot repeatedly- mostly in the head. He has just come out of his surgery and now prayers are needed for this kitty to survive. Please keep an eye on your cats at all times especially if living in the area, in fact, try keep them indoors. it has been reported to the police.
