well done with what you are doing !!! yes all cats have a chance. I have myself 2 rescued cats.. it takes time.. but spread the word around you and take picture and send to your connection. for your information few vetenaries offer special rates for stray cats. this month al barsha clinic is doing neutral for free for stay cats , see my thread : http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=141508. good luck for this cat he desserve a forever home.. !!!

just to remind you that it s free for stray cats this month. Al Barsha Vet clinic is having a FREE 'spay/neuter' stray cats month. If any of you ladies is able to safely catch any of the feral cats, perhaps a visit to the vet could help contain the quantity of the feral cats in Dubai. I can recommend this contact 043 336 478 they charge 180 aed for inside and external and are on time and efficient. (british cie- nepal staff) they have material to clean very hight windows . I use them since 2 years.

good to know that there is no hormones in NZ meat. I worked in France for meat/poultry exporters and had a long talk in Geant regarding the meat as I had few time found brown colour in beef meat.. !!! the guy argued that it was normal.. !!! I was so disapointed and I dont buy anymore meat in Geant, I bought organic minced beef in cafe organic (1 kilo aed 55) and I am not disapointed. beef is good quality and i can freeze it , quality is good. I also buy frozen chicken at organic cafe at aed 65 for full chicken (very good) all other chicken you find in super market are full of hormones and water.. except farm fresh chicken in carrefour (french) but expensive!!!!

my colleague lost his kitten 3 weeks ago. it s a female and looks like the description you gave.. can you send a picture if you can . on nathaliegral at hotmail dot com . he thought that the kitten was part of the '' cleaning of DM' where they caught 150 cats and killed them...

heart fm reliable source that DM caught around 120 cats the last 2 weeks in Mirdiff area, they wanted to clean... and of course, they put them to sleep if no tag... . until they dont take the problem at the root, situation will never improved... they have to make a campaign to neutral cats as they now do in Abu Dhabi... . so yes ensure your cats have a tag .. to avoid a bad end.... !!!

I had similar situation with a dog I fostered during 3 weeks. she was lovely with our family and kids but nobody could enter in our house.It was very difficult to find family who can accept the situation and had patience with the dog. I think it happened very offen with rescued dog which have been abused..; Love and patience and experience are needed and of course a specialist behaviourist.. will help definitively !!! good luck.
