Hello Qs6, I think its safe to say theres no pork on sale in Kuwait. Ive been here a year & never seen any. As for supermarkets we have carrefour Geant & Lu lu's . So which ever you prefer. Anything else I can help with? If I dont have the information you need I will try & get it for you. Welcome to Kuwait. !!!!!!!!!!! :)

Hello Sal, I went to a Chinese like this outside London. If you leave a reasonable amount of anything thats fine. Its just to stop excessive waste. When people take more than they want or can eat & leave it. I thought it was a good idea. There far to much food wasted in the world. There was absolutely no problem about eating as much as you wanted. Hope your well :cool:

loved Gary Glitter not now though hes a nonce isnt he?? Saw the Bay city rollers once in passing loved the Osmonds & saw David Cassidy in concert unfortunately a young girl was crushed I believe she died later. Now was all that me or my older sister ...............??????? ;)

Happy Christmas & God bless you all this very special night. I am thankfully home for Christmas, just read my grand children a bed time story & put all the santa gifts under their tree. Its a huge blessing to be able to share Chritmas with the little ones my kids & my parents. Unfortunately the situation is such that two of my grandchildren wont see us over Christmas & my son wont see his children. At this time of year its even harder to come to terms with. With Gods help this horrendous situation will be resolved by this special time next year & we can all spend time together. Oh Salsb, sorry to hear you were so sick. Going home tomorrow night. My grandson has chicken pox poor little man. Thank God Ive had it. But his brother & sister havent. At least if they get it , it will be all over in time for Christmas. Yes you do know me, we've met. I asked you a dopey question about the Marriot courtyard!!! Something like Is it a court yard is it The Marriot or what??? No your right I cant be let out on my own :) Ive only brought back face powder. Oh Cheese & Cracker wheat for Lsh.

Hello DC, You havent heard from me for a very long time. I then used a different name for reasons only known to those mightier than me I was banned. Hence the new name & not bothering with the forum. You made a very kind remark to me in a time of extreme stress & anxiety, for which I thank you. :) I remember one lady saying that she returned to the UK with a minimal over stay & was fined at the airport. She wasnt complaining about the fine, she said the person she encountered at the airport wasnt at all nice to say the least. Just wanted to let you know, dont want your Dad having hassle or leaving Dubai with an unpleasant taste in his mouth as we did. Have you had a second baby? Sorry Im comp,etely out of the loop!!!

Hey Wuffles, So sorry this happened to you. Yes you did the right thing ( I too would be questioning myself) But you certainly did the right thing. The fact that he didnt stop even when it was obvious you were uncomfortable, is really not good. Way to much 'confidence' for want of a better word going on with that creep. Im just wondering should we wear a sign around our necks saying do not touch !! Then I reconsidered....... No some super glue on these creeps hands would be a better alternative.
