Hi Snoopy Your best bet would be to visit the Wasl office located in Jumeirah 1 (opposite to The One, TGIF & Lime Tree Cafe). Good luck!

There is a shop at IBN (can't recollect the name) but this shop is in line with Nine West. They have kids furniture and wooden toys (like the ones you find in IKEA). Very close to Carribou and London Dairy. HTH.

Carrefour does stock some of St. Ives products such as face scrub, face mask... St. Ives shampoos and conditioners are great but, have not seen these lately. edited by NikitaD on 05/09/2013

Dear OP, It seems to work fine for us. You apply for the NBAD CC; once your request is confirmed, NBAD pays the school annual fee upfront. After the discount; the amount that you have to pay is split in 12 months and just like any other credit card, you will receive a statement for which you have to pay in time (as per payment date) in order not to incur any late payment fees. Hope this helps. edited by NikitaD on 28/08/2013

Good morning! During the DSS a 20% discount (depending on the price of the watch) was being offered in the Omega Rivoli Showrooms. As the ones we wanted were not in stock, I had to make a down payment of 30% or so (to avail of the dicount offer) and shall recive the watches in 6 weeks time. This was at the MOE Omega Showroom.

Bought Ford Edge in December from Al Tayer SZR Branch. The agent Ashwin Dsouza was extremely helpful and had loads of patience to explain all features and answer as many queries as we had, very helpful with all the paperwork. On the delivery day he spent a good hour in the car explaining all the features and commands which I now enjoy using. We were promptly reminded about our first service and so on. A very happy and proud owner of my Edge! I suggest that you test drive both cars, do go on SZR, by lanes and so on to feel the difference. Did so with Touareg, RX 350 and Edge. Enjoy shoopping for the new car. :)

The one I make, should you wish to try out... Prefer Chootra brand low fat labneh, whip it and add mince garlic (1 or 2 cloves depending on how garlicky you prefer), add some Gyma pasta mix herb powder. Whip it all together, refrigerate for a while and enjoy with nachos.

When I read posts like this, I am so thankful that I was born to liberal, western parents who raised me to become a confident, independant woman and who sent me out to discover and conquer the world at a young age. Who never raised me in the shadow of my brothers but as an individual with equal rights. Who recognised my aspirations and pushed me to acheive them. Who were always there to guide me but without pigeonholing me into a traditional female role. I am so thankful every day. edited by derien on 20/03/2013 I truly concur with you and am ever so grateful to my parents for letting me and supporting me financially to have the education I could only dream of and achieve what I aspired to be!

If it's a Thursday, Ember Lounge in the Address Dubai Mall is pretty good, it's 260 dhs all in (I think) , and has a jazz duo playing live music...there is a buffet, but they also bring a platter with steak, fish, prawns and chicken, and all the sauces and veg...it's not too big and is more intimate than the others you've listed...definitely worth checking out... Thank you for your suggestion, but it is for Friday evening. Would appreciate more suggestions please. TIA!

Have been buying the Entertainer since it was priced at Dhs 89 or 98 (there was only one book then). It truly has been a great experience and have vouched for the Family book always (thank you Entertainer team). But, this year, it has been a let down, a part of it is my fault, as I should have seen which restaurants are included on their website and not assumed prior to ordering. Even then to have per restaurant one voucher for brunches and the rest for main course or a regular buffet is disappointing. As it is a [b'>Family[/b'> Book, it should have been minimum of two vouchers of the same kind (i.e.brunch/ buffet).

I've tried all 3 and would say Kaleidoscope has good food but is a bit like a giant canteen. Also check which theme nights they have on as they change them sometimes last minute and you might end up with something you don't like. I'm a big fan of Latitude, always good quality and selection. Mistral (IB gate hotel?) - small selection but nice food, altho I wasn't a huge fan of the restaurant area as it's right off the lobby. You could also try Saffron? Or I like the buffet at the Meydan as well? First a big congratluations for the newborn TDB! I am an avid reader of the EW forum more than posting and truly enjoy reading your posts. :) Thank you for your suggestions. At the Meydan do you mean Farriers (sorry if the spelling is incorrect)? Is the atmosphere lively? I look forward to more suggestions from others too. Many thanks again. Thanks Nikita! And congrats on your anniversary :) Yep Farriers - I went for my birthday last year and it was really lovely, nice view. I wouldn't say lively but it's quite a smart restaurant. If you prefer lively, then Saffron evening buffet is where my hubby and I threw a celebration dinner for all our friends and that had much more atmosphere and also a superb selection of food. Note - we did the Friday evening buffet, the daytime brunch gets super lively (perhaps not what you're after lol!) Have a great night! You are right TDB, I would not like the super lively atmosphere as I have seen in the past at Saffron's ( as I have a DS) but something nice as my parents shall be visitng us starting this weekend and I really want them to have a fab time and kick off their holidays with a great evening with us. L'Attitude has always been great and have great memories but, wish to try a new place.

Thanks for the responses. Managed to get an appointmnet with Dr. Elsa for this week and same with Dr. Andrea. As I could not wait any longer, did go today for blood test and the result is negative. Soooooo very depressed and low. Trying to conceive and hold on to a healthy pregnancy for 5 long years. I keep telling myself not to be stressed but how can I not be stressed? Have gone through all the possible tests between 2 miscarriages and both gynaecs say I do not need any treatment. What next? I see the sadness in my DS's eyes and I feel even more guilty about it and helpless.

Hi NikitaD, sorry i can not help as I have never been there yet. However, I would love to hear your feedbacks tomorrow about it. Thanks Dear amazingdxb After hesitating quite a bit, we finally decided to go ahead. It is not as crowded as other popular restaurants but, there was a good flow of guests. The service was excellent. The Sous Chef introduced us to the buffet and the food was of good quality and taste. They replenished the food as and when necessary. We sat at the table overlooking the Burj Khalifa. Overall, we had an enjoyable evening at The Californian.

Been to Chef's House very recently for the Seafood Night and we were quite disappointed. Never been to seafood night, but have been to asian night many times. Good value, good food, healthy options, sashimi, peking duck. Desserts, btw, are better than in Saffron. Thank you, Wild Mint. I shall give it a thought. Maybe we should go early rather than 9 pm. The last time we went, we literally had to request the manager to have the food refilled. The peking duck sounds way too tempting. :) edited by NikitaD on 30/01/2012

Thank you ladies for your feedback. Would you suggest that I lease via DSO authority or via individual agents? Which buildings would you recommend? Sorry for asking so many questions.
