Awwwwww. I'm excited about the love-fest between Amy and NIP. Hooray for open discussions!!! There is hope for all, lol. Good luck to the OP. Just remember you are fabulous and deserve a man who is not [b'>just willing[/b'> to give a relationship with a try, but is genuinely [b'>interested[/b'> and [b'>excited[/b'> about starting something. You deserve a man who is tripping over himself to get you to go out with him and commit to only him! When you meet Mr. Right, trust me, the only thing he will be worried about is letting you get away!!!

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2012/02/11/whitney-houston-dies-at-48/ Why does this keep happening?! Why do people let drugs into their lives in the first place. I just don't understand. =(

So about a month ago I met a charming guy,who seemed very interesting ,funny and successful. He is at the right age for me and we seem to have many shared interests. One day he told me that he is not ready to be in a relationship and when I asked him why , he said that he had a sad divorce about a year go and his wife whom he had dated for many years before getting married , cheated on him in the first year of their marriage. So they got divorced and he is not emotionally ready to trust women again. We decided on being only friends but the chemistry we have does not make the only friend thing possible ,if you know what I mean.I know that he likes me and he has told me so himself, but he seems distant most of the time..He seems to be sweet and caring ,but he has a guard and doesn't want to open up.Do you think being around me will show him that he can trust a woman again? edited by khatooon on 12/02/2012 Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it sounds like a case of "He's just not that into you". (if you haven't read the book, run to the store and pick it up sister!) Here's a sneak peak if you haven't read it: http://www.enotalone.com/relationships/5514.html edited by NotMyRealName on 12/02/2012

You could even try a bit of nail varnish on the metal contact- hopefully invisible but able to be scratched off later should you want it working again (pffffft yeah right) Nail Polish... that's genius!!! thanks ladies edited by NotMyRealName on 12/02/2012

I like the way you think SkyKitty. I have taken the batteries out already and replaced them with some dead ones i had lying around but I didn't think to take the spare battery box out of the junk drawer and she helpfully replaced them. =( I just don't want to hurt her feelings, but taking it apart and de-wiring it might be a viable solution.

Yes, i do. My mother bought me a pair for Christmas. (Talk about a sublet hint, lol.) I originally started running last June, but had some shin splint problems over the summer and gave up, then started again in the fall and am taking it much slower this time. I'm also wearing my orthodics in my running shoes so fingers crossed i don;t run into the same problems as i did last time. How far can you run now?

dunno - you could probably go shopping, have brunch, get your nails done or hit your head against a dune. Tough decision ... ;-) Why pick one... all of the above sound plausible and three out of four even sound like fun.!

I did it!!!!!! I feel like superwoman! Good for you! :) Love hearing stuff like this! I'm not kidding when i say that my lovely and beautiful full figured (READ: FAT) bottom couldn't run for 10 seconds when i started 4 months ago. I actually let out a loud WAHOO! and cheered I DID IT! to no one in particular when the voice came through my iPhone tonight after my first five minute run telling me i had ten more seconds until my walking segment. I couldn't believe i did it! If i can do it, ANYONE can.

Alright girls, i'm going out for my run tonight and according to my c25k schedule, i need to do four 5 minute running segments with 2 minute walks in between. In my entire life, i've never been able to run for five minutes straight, but tonight's the night. I'm going to do it or die trying. Wish me luck!!!! and if you don't hear me reporting back within the hour, send an ambulance round to Al Barari please.;)

Do splurge and see a good show. Do think carefully before you book a hotel. Best decision my friends and i made was to stay on Fremont street. The casinos need to try harder than the ones on the strip so lots of them still give away free booze to gamblers. IT's a nice place to pre drink for free before you catch the bus which is only a dollar or two to the strip. Don't play roulette. (worst odds in the casino.) and its one spin and your money is gone. (BORING) Do play craps ( best odds in the casino.) invest 10 minutes on youtube before you go and learn the basics, because it's LOTS of fun, and all the girls can crowd around the table and cheer whoever has the dice and you get lots of value ( game play) for your money. Don't expect to be able to it cheaply Do expect to have a great time. Do be careful.

Went snooping around the new restaurant tonight on my run; It looks fantastic. Very nicely done. They said it would be open first week of March. Anyone know if they will be allowed to sell wine and beer or is that a no-no because they are not a hotel?

The Zoo in Sharjah is suppose to be very good according to my friend who always takes her visitors there and a tad closer if you've never been before! Yeah, that was where we were planning on going, as i've been before and loved it, but it's closed on Tuesday. It's only day three of spring break and i need to get these four kids out of the house NOW! any other ideas? Cafe Ceramique where they can paint their own plates etc? Thanks for the suggestions...How much would does it cost for them to make something?

Hi Scotsmumofone, It might have been me you were talking to. I look after a 15 month old and a husband who travels and would love a play date. I would love to arrange a get together, but i've learnt my lesson, and feel pretty confident that if i post my email addy i'll be banned again. Why don't we meet up at one of the expat women toddler groups? Are there any on Thursday that you could make?

Its a bum washer for want of a better word, you sit facing away from the taps!! Towards.....for swishing and temp control...... Ha you are right, I just googled it Bidet is a French word for pony (and in Old French, bider meant to trot). This etymology comes from the notion that one rides a bidet much like a pony is ridden. In addition, the bidet is also referred to as the "garden hose." It's also referred to as a garden hose?! Uggg i just got a mental picture of someone cleaning their bottom with a garden hose, lol.
