Try Sports Direct in the Outlet Mall, they had Dolphins and an airplane, not sure about an alligator but might be worth a look.

Does anyone know if Subway at Motorcity are still delivering during the day, or Burger King/Pizza Hut from the Ranches? Can't confirm for sure but Subway looked open when I drove past yesterday around 2.30pm so might be worth a shot. before Ramadan I asked. The guy wasn't sure but thought they;d be open around 3 for take out and delivery only. I saw a Facebook note saying NKD Pizza would be delivering from 10am - they deliver to Motor City Thanks, Subway are open for delivery during the day.

Hi, I'm a KG teacher and usually pick up a few bits at the outlet mall. There's a Gap and Banana Republic outlet that has khaki Gap trousers for 49Dhs and a good range of casual tops and shirts. Esprit also has some good stuff. If it's anything like my class your best friend will be an apron!!

Hi twocats, Sounds like the bug I had a couple of weeks ago, felt nauseous all the time and only had fluids for two days. Also slept during the day, something I never do. I took painkillers as I had a headache and felt spaced out. I had some Lucozade and energy drinks as I felt so lifeless, maybe they'd help you. Hope you feel better soon.

Hugs to you Kie. Maybe your little one is going through a growth spurt, or if she's only feeding for 5 to 10mins at a time it could be that she's only getting the foremilk which could be making her windy. It may be an idea for you to express a little milk so that she gets the hindmilk which will fill her up for longer. As cheeky monkey has said I'd get in touch with a lactation specialist and as the other's have said don't be too hard on yourself. Good luck.

There is a skatepark at Modesh this year, at Expo Centre. There's also an indoor one at Dubai Mall, part of Rage and an outdoor skatepark at Festival City, back of Toys'r'us. Skateboard mad DS's in this house!

Try Zara, Gap or Hennes. It's a nightmare for me as I have three boys and it's difficult finding clothes that they like.

Well said Delvin. Also can't understand why some people insist on overtaking when you turn off the 611 onto the through road.

Thanks for the advice Laura74. Little Leo was found in the carpark at the school where I teach, I have a feeling he was dumped as there is no sign of any other kittens or mummy cat. We've had him since he was 4 weeks old I think, as he is eating dry cat food. They are both so gorgeous and my three boys are loving having them around. Tigger is hissing at Leo, who to be honest doesn't seem as bothered! I will try the blanket and toy idea, as they are both so playful.

Try the White Company, they do lovely towels that wash and last well. There's a store in the outlet mall now.

Has anyone had any experience with Interhigh? It's an internet homeschool (UK/Welsh curriculum). We are thinking about home schooling our DS who is currently in year 8. I'd like to hear from anyone who has or is home schooling teenagers and if there are any other options for UK curriculum. TIA

Anea18 I replied to your earlier thread - if it's the Falcon Championships then they are being held just off the 611, Dubai bypass road, past Global Village towards Sharjah. HTH

Actually the development we lived in had high ceilings and triple aspect living rooms - hardly boxy, they also managed to keep out the undesirables, as you call them, despite an uproar. Sorry, didn't mean to offend you! I was just generalising on my experience of looking round new builds when I was helping my brother house hunt in summer! What kind of monthly prices are these ones going for? That's ok :-) We lived in Clarendon Park, it's a mix of apartments, town houses and detached houses. The rents I believe range from about £1300 for the town houses, 2 bedroom with ensuite and very spacious to £2,500 + for the larger properties. Just do a search with the usual estate agents in the UK. It is set in woodland and we had deer running around and lots of wildlife.

Hi TurkishDervish, we were in Epsom before moving to Dubai. Yes it can be expensive but has all the things you are looking for. There are a couple of new developments just outside the town that have some lovely apartments and houses, set in acres of woodland, prices have come down in the last couple of years.
