Yay. Happy ending. Owner contacted us after we left notes at guard huts, and the little guy pretty much flew into his owners arms when he came over. :)

Worked in Nairobi before coming here....recommend you fly down from Wilson airport in Nairobi. Saves hours on a sometimes unreliable (as in pot holes and dodgy traffic) road. Suggest you stay in one of the more reputable ecotourism 'camps' down there, like Rekero Camp or Richards camp. Totally luxurious and wonderful, and totally genuine in wanting to protect the enviroment. When we were there, the owners were trying to teach their 'colleagues' in the business to dispose of their hotel wastes in an ethical manner. Their guides are all certified and are also dedicated in their job. Words cannot describe the wildlife and the scenery that we were privileged enough to be shown by them down there. Teressa, our travel agent in Nairobi is wonderful and we call her/email her whenever we need help or new suggestions. Her number is +254722588014. Do recommend (if you can help it) that you dont stay in downtown Nairobi. We normally stay in Gigiri (Embassy and UN suburb) at Tribes hotel, and walk over to the weekly Friday masai market at the 'village market' there. But depends on your itinerary, as Gigiri is north of Nairobi city, while airports are south of nairobi city. Traffic can be horrible depending on your times. Teressa (if you use her) can advise you anyway. Enjoy your trip!

As ENjoy mentioned you do have some rights which you can find out about from RERA/dubai courts. We've been in MEadows 9 for 4years and still love it! It's quiet, we have lovely Neighbours , and when it's cooler, it's a lovely stroll to Spinneys Welcome!

There has been a new medium sized tabby cat without collar around Villa 5 area on Street 3, Meadows 9. Couldnt tell if it was your Malibu or not. Might be a good idea to door knock around there just in case....

Yes. The little thing is resting in peace buried amongst the bushes on the Boundary road.

Hi, I couldnt stand the thought of the poor thing left on the side of the road like that, so when I saw it still there tonight, my husband and I went and retrieved the poor thing, and have buried it in a nice spot amongst the flax (?) bushes on the boundary road. It didnt have a collar on. 'RIP little thing'

I'm so sorry if this news brings sadness to a family. When I drove up that new road between Choithrams, (past DIA, Lakes) and into Greens this morning, I saw a adult cat curled up dead on the side of the road. It had a grey/black tabby back, and white stomach and legs. When I u-turned and went back to remove it off the road, I saw a cleaner had already moved it off the road, past the cones and into the curb of the unused lanes. I'm so sorry. If its any consolation, the cat looked like it was curled up sleeping .

Oh no! Does anyone know anyone (who is 'proactive' and 'takes responsibility') in Emaar to ask if they can try 'something else'?
