I think it would be same same really. I was at MoE last night and i swear i have bigger knickers than the shorts some woman was wearing..... Me too and she wasnt European ;-) she had a Madonna style denim bustier and only what can be described as denim gym knickers! I even gasped in her face as that was the worst i had ever seen! no-one else batted an eyelid though

I have contacted RAK rent committee and the landlord is right. One months notice. We did the bloomin garden too. I am so mad! So be warned if moving or living in RAK. It is not Dubai. Right, busy house hunting............again! When you say 1 month, what is on your rental contract? Did you not say 3 months?

Never heard of a curly blowout?? So that means they blow-dry your hair and the finished article is curly hair from straight hair? Its a blow dry however they can make it wavy or curly with brushes rather than using curling tongs

I went to Maroon 5 with my teens at DWTC and no issues. Not sure whether a comedy show would have an age restriction due to possible unsuitable content (don't know the performer!). He isn't rude so the promoter said it is ok if there is alcohol sold then they give the wristbands :-)

I am hoping someone out there has the answers I am looking for as I can't seem to find them online and really don't want to have to call an 0844 number from here! When I left the UK I filled out a P85....when I go back I have a job to start straight away so what happens? Will I get emergency taxed until they sort out a tax code for me? Do I have to fill out another form to say I am back? Or call them? Someone also told me that because I have only been living out of the UK for 2 years I will have to pay tax back on everything I have earnt here, but how can they prove what I have earnt here?! If anyone can give any advice I'd really appreciate it! Thanks! http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/international/return-uk.htm Try this lots of info on there

Where in Manchester will you be staying ? Lived 10 mins from M/cr Airport. There's a new Lego play area at the Trafford Centre. Haven't done this one but heard good reports. Eureka in Yorkshire (train ride and stops outside) is a good one when wet. Camelot, Blackpool, Alton Towers Water Park is fab. HTH I am feeling very homesick now :-(

Ive tried to search for this but nothing is clear. One article stated that a landlord has to give 3 months notice in RAK, whereas I think it is a year in Dubai. Does anyone know? We had notice today via the agents that the landlord has sold our property (noone has been round to view!!!) and that the new owners want to move in at the end of April. We have been in the property for one year. Any advice will be gratefully received. Does RAK have its own rent committee? If the rent committee covers UAE then it is one years notice in writing ( It also has to be notarised) I would contact the rent committee in Dubai and ask

Hi All, I hope everyone is doing well. We are traveling to Manchester during Easter holidays. My first trip to UK, actually :D We are planning to go from there to London for two or three days. We have a 16 month old toddler. So I would like to seek your advice for things to see/do in Manchester and London with a toddler :) Everybody is suggesting Parks. I cross my fingers for the good weather :) Do you think we can do museums as well (with a toddler that age)? Do you think it's better to drive from Manchester to London or better take the train? Do all bathrooms have changing rooms etc? Sorry it is my first trip there so I don't know what to expect. Thank you for any input. I would have a look on Trip Advisor Toddlers are okay to take to museums Depedendant upon the weather and Easter hols are notorious for rain! especially the bank hols take warm, waterproof clothing, you will find so much to do there. Regarding travel from Manchester to London personally i would take the train as the bank holiday traffic can be awful! Plenty of changing places within shops with WC's Boots, Marks and Spencer Debenhams I am so jealous, i live 25 mins from Manchester airport and cannot get home this Easter Say hi to the North West for me. Chester which is a 25 minute trip from the airport has a huge Zoo ( my house is opposite it) which is definately worth a visit

I heard there is a serum out by Kerastase in a gold bottle that you massage into your wet scalp after washing. Its pricey but has anyone tried it? The salon gave it rave reviews but I am curious to hear from others. apparently it works from the root. I have the Blu filter and have not noticed much of a difference in myself but I do see a difference in my toddler daughters. thier skin is not as dry as before and the scalp is not peeling. I use all the Kerastase products and avoid shop bought ones like the plague as they contain a similar ingredient to soap which dries my hair terribly. I have very fine hair and never thought i ever shed alot but recently i have seen more in the shower and on the floor! The serum is pricey and i used it when i had my extensions it however it lasted for forever I think L'oreal make a cheaper version ( Only seen it in UK though) and it was around 10GBP to buy Is the L'Oreal one in a clear gold serum bottle or a black pump? Just saw today 2 new lines at Choitrims It was the clear one i think

In addition to the vinegar and soda which I use, I will use Tide washing powder sometimes. Elbow grease is important. I also Clorox everything (repeatedly throughout the day ;/). The vinegar and soda worked a treat. :-)

Employee and Employer .. Thats the relationship you should have lolol. I know. But one of my lot has been with me a few years now and on Thursday night when I was going out she looked at me and said - where you going, what time you be back. I did laugh as did everyone else who heard because she reminded me of my mum asking me when I was a young girl. I love her, I really do, and come the day she decides to go home I'll really miss her. Without a doubt she is half daft, and I really do mean that, but its a huge part of her charm and appeal. I think that is really sweet

I always clean mine twice, first with Jif spray then when domestos bleach and a sponge. I feel the domestos kills the shine a bit but does get it extremely white. I also felt that no matter how hard i scrubbed it never came up white anymore so the domestos does the trick for me! They sell a product called Cillit Bang back home which was fantastic but they dont sell it here :( No CB here, i even find Jif and bleach doesn't work

I am employed in an admin role with a labour card (on my husband's visa), I am currently working within a free zone. I am looking at other roles, outside the free zone and if I was lucky enough to secure a now role, how easy would it be to resign from my current role and start another? I know that jobs are hard to come but hypothetically, how easy is it to change roles here in Dubai? Your advice is welcomed, thank you Depends on the role/industry/their requirements etc etc etc etc Are you seeking a new role in the same area ( I.E admin or changing career completely) FZ labor would be cancelled and a new one applied for so you would not have any dramas there. Most employers realise you have to give 1 months notice therefore if they like you will wait I would always advise you to look for work whilst you are working not resign and then look if that makes sense

The same thing happened to me this morning... A big nasty scratch on the back side of the car. Looks luke somebody tried to park. It amazes me that that person does not even bother to leave their details... Surely that's the right thing to do? If you leave details you get into trouble here for fleeing the scene of an accident. To get a police report go to the Police Station near the trade centre. If you go first thing in the am it only takes about 30 mins. Thank you starsouthern, I was not aware of that... Unfortunately it is all part of being in Dubai I have watched other drivers not look when opening their doors and to be honest some do not even care if they scratch or dent your car. My passenger side is full of small scratches and dings as i call them I had them fixed ( never claimed through insurance though) and the same thing happens over and over. People are just inconsiderate and it seems the nicer the car the worst they are at doing it grrrrr

My Mum was ill from when i was 10 years old and she sadly passed away 71/2 years later I didnt go off the rails as my Dad had a nervous breakdown and needed support I had older Sisters/Brother who supported me to a point however i was pretty much left to my own devices. I didnt want to cause my Dad unecessary bother as he was going through his own personal **** which we were powerless to do anything about Whenever i do get stressed or down about things i remember how brave my darling Mum was and how her left was tragically cut short by an inoperable brain tumor ( she was only 44) watching her die was the worse thing that could ever happen to me and in a strange way it helped me make the best of my life, not to sweat the small stuff and live my life to the best i can

Good point SarahLou123! When I saw Oasis at Knebworth the crowd was so dense that people couldn't leave their spot to go to the loo so some people were 'going' where they stood! I just made sure not to drink anything! In my Sisters day at Reading they would Pee in a bottle and lob it at the stage! And do mention the festivals where most people are scantily dressed and high as kites The organisation can be hit and miss here and yes there may be the occaisional fight however most people toe the line due to the severity of the police I had a great time as per usual

OMG!!! Just seen a great YouTube on how to put your hair in a bun. They didn'y use a donut thingy they used a long sausage thing that they rolled their pony tail up in and then put into a bun. Anyone know if you can get long sausage foam thingy for your hair? It looked so much more easier to do than using the donut. I miss Superdrug and the large UK Boots the chemist You can get so many hair accessories etc there and they are so cheap compared to here

I must have been at a different Sandance to everyone else. Shocked by this comments. Thought the VIP platform was very crowded but the VIP section on the beach in front of the stage was fab! No queues at the bar, no fights, just people having fun listening to great music! Yes one VIP toilet was out of commission for about an hour but there wasn't big lines at the other one so wasnt a big deal. Richard Ashcroft was amazing....just him and his guitar! And we wasn't there to see Oasis...that band no longer exists so why would anyone expect Noel to spend the night signing Oasis songs he didn't even sing when the band was together. He sang 5 or 6 B side Oasis songs which was what he done when they were together and his new stuff is great which is what he's obviously trying to promote!! He's always been a bit sulky looking but that's just him....His voice was great and his band sounded FAB! Everyone came on at exactly the times listed so yes there was a wait by it all went with the schedule so don't think you can complain about that! I ordered safe driver to take me home, left at midnight, was in my house in the Ranches by half past! Great night! Hate when people complain about nothing...which a lot of people on here do! I had no issues either, managed to get drinks no problem, was at the front of stage ( A little squished but hey its a concert) free bus home in bed at 12pm :-)
