Any business technically does require a trade licence...There are various licences available from knowledge village, internet city,RAK free zone...you could even try Virtual zone or creative zone in dubai...their consultants are pretty helpful with regards to business licensing...

Should'nt be a problem...we moved here last year in early sept...and the visa took almost 2 weeks...Most schools accept the visa copy once you get it stamped...Pls let your friend know that she will also require a school leaving cert from the previous school..also make sure that the school in dxb prescribes the format...we had to go back and forth with this school and the previous one in toronto as the formats were different...good luck to yr friend.. Hope this helps.

Here you go Ice7...probably not as low fat as the slimming world one...but have substituted oil for butter and they are really delish...Tons of fibre...great for breakfast or even a snack for kids to take for lunch.. Raisin Bran Muffins 1 1/2 Cups Wheat Bran 1 Cup Buttermilk -- * See Note 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil 1 Egg 2/3 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder 1/2 Teaspoon Salt 1/2 Cup Raisins -- Or Dates *1 cup milk with 1 Tablespoon lemon juice (or vinegar) may be substituted for 1 cup buttermilk. Preheat oven to 375F. Mix together wheat bran and buttermilk; let stand. Combine vegetable oil, egg, sugar and vanilla and add to buttermilk-bran mixture. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add to first mixture and stir until just blended. Add raisins or dates and spoon into prepared muffin tins. Bake for 15-20 minutes.

@simpleasabc... Panko is a japanese bread crumbs ...I find them crispier than regular ones so give the fish a nice crusty coating...anyways i've used up the mortal remains of the panko I'd pkd up last yr in toronto....so i guess i'll jusy use regular bread crumbs....maybe toast them in the oven a bit so they are crispier. PS: Thanks for sharing the recipe for the lamb...It's gone up on my to make list for the wek;))

@ Kiana...Ive had rosacea for years now....I've just moved back to dxb so cannot recommed a dermat...however used to see one inTorono who put me onto Tetracycline and it was wonderful...it clears up like magic...ur skin looks amazing...only flip side is u cant be on tetra forever...once u stop the 3mth dosage...u are good for I'd say a year...and then u'll start seeing the bumps again....Worth checking with dermats here..so maybe take it a couple of times to get it under control... Also Aveeno has a brilliant product:Aveeno Daily Moisturizer, Ultra-Calming SPF 15 Reviews (visibily reduces redness) Amazing product....desperatley looking for it in dxb:))) If not may have to order on the net...worth it....reness so under control...hope this helps..

Pesto pasta with Salmon I have tried this with fettuchini.... Rinse salmon and salt and pepper to taste. Add a little butter to a skillet and add salmon - brown salmon on both sides. Add wine to skillet and "poach" the salmon till done. While salmon is cooking boil pasta till desired doneness. Drain and rinse pasta. When Salmon is cooked use spatula or wooden spoon to cut it up into bite size pieces while still in the skillet.Saute some white onions and garlic in olive oil.Add some oyester mushrooms and saute for another minute.Add in the pesto. Add the salmon pieces to this mix.Toss in the pasta....If you like a creamy texture to the pasta...just add a tablespoon of philly cream cheese....tho great without is all.. Bon Appetit! Serve while hot.

Mini pizzas,,bruschetta either with tomatoes and basil....or even chopped mushroom sauteed and with some cheese, mini pitas-split them in the center make a mix of crumbled feta cheese, finely chopped balck olives and chopped parsley stuff into the pitas...lighlty brush the pitas with olive oil and then toast them on a pan for a couple of minutes on each side...how about using a cookie cutter and cutting small rounds of bread and topping them with any of yr favorite topping...i like to use cream cheese with grated cucumbers abd chooped coriander... Another hit with adults and kids on a hot summer afternoon are fruit kebobs...use yr favorites one.....maybe pineapple, watermelon and musk melon...all diced to bites sized squares and just slide them onto a skewer and enjoy!!! Chicken satay with a peanut dipping sauce...hope this helps....hope you have a wonderful BBQ

Simple ones around the house could be....Clearing the table, helping to load the dishwasher, maybe even taking the hose and washing the car(getting hot now so I'm sure they 'd enjoy that one) Maybe the pocket money could be an amount that you give them weekly and yes you could say that you'd like for them to do xyz chores for that amount.... Hope that helps
