I'd go anywhere but Pastels for mani/pedi !! I had a terrible experience. Best place to go around here is Galina's Saloon in Barsha, behind MOE. Been going there for 3 yrs , they are THE BEST. # 3418851 once you go there, you wont go anywhere else! Good luck

I've tried Silkor and Dermacare for Microderm.. I however prefer Dermacare as I felt that their skin treatment was better with Oxygene and Vitamin C. While at Silkor it was not only more expensive but it was just a face mask after the microderm. Also at Silkor the girls were very pushy to sell you product and a package. Probably wouldnt go back again. Hi, where is dermacare ?? I have been researching about the best place for microdermabrasion and all posts suggests dermacare!! but i can not find the place , please help???!!!!!

On Al Wasl Road, Jumeira 1, opposite a big Pharmacy ( sorry don't know the name of the pharmacy ). From outside it looks small but inside it is really nice and spacious and the staff are friendly. Have been Google-ing dermacare, cant find their website! is the name right?

I understand it’s a big decision to make. Why don’t you ask Dr Khan to show you some before and after photos so you can see what he’s done to help you make the best decision? On another note do you really need it done, I think natural look much better and do you really want the headache of getting them re-done every 7 years? well, i do need it im size 34 A I barely have breast !!! and I have seen so many pics of before and after photos when i went for consultation with Dr khan but you cant judge by photo only! and you dont need to re do it every 7 years! its around 15 years and only if you had problems.

yesterday i saw someone who had done a breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Leandro, it was superb job. Why dont you book and appt with both Drs and go with the Dr you like best. I have been to consultation with Dr. Khan and I chose him only on recommendations from EW and never saw any patient of him. I was scheduled for the surgery even but had problem with mamo so had to put it on hold for sometimes. Now im having second thoughts about him, and yesterday when I saw that lady who had done it with Dr. Lenardo I was really impressed. So I am so confused!!

I have seen 3 lots done by him - one is so OTT, one is good but a bit wide spaced and the other not big enough to notice a difference and too saggy! Spacing out has nothing to do with a surgeon its probably your friends natural shape, boob jobs don’t give you a cleavage if you’re not made that way. Sagging again is down to the natural shape of the breast, and as for the OTT one well isn’t that down to patient choice? Well the saggy one was also smaller than the patient wanted due to " circumstances" at the time.....but that's all I can say on here about it. Very unsatisfactory for her. Oh that’s a shame. One of my friends had a bj with a surgeon in Dubai she lost all feeling in both breasts and a week after her op he accidently killed someone while operating. ooohhhh my god!! please give us the name of that surgeon before we get ourselves killed?!!!!!

Have tried many ... i have had it for the last 4 years, love them. place to avoid: many specially pastel (had the worst experience) but go to only galina salon in barsha, owned by russian lady , she charges more but her staff who are as good are less expensive , i pay 260 for refill every month. but they are great, ask for Gina or Lanes only. Galina the owner is also very good if u r ready to pay 100 more. here is their number 3418851 behind mall of emirates

Being a mum is the best job in the world, but it's also very hard work. If you are at home all day, it's tough. If you are out all day, it is also tough having to make up for the time that you weren't there. If you work, you feel guilty because you work. If you don't work, you feel like you are losing your work skills or that you are not doing enough with your LO etc. At the end of the day you have to do what works for you and your family. Nobody else has the right to criticise your decision, nobody knows why you have made it, and absolutely nobody has the right to make you feel guilty about it. Your LO loves you more than anyone else in the world, no matter what your decision is. LIKE , AGREE 100% *MASSIVE LIKE*

YES some people think we should give our kids priority!! which mother dosent?!!! If I work personally i think i am doing this for my child to afford a good school, good house, good quality of life! unfortunately some people here think everyone is lucky enough to be able to stay home and give 100% to our kids and live a luxury life here!! No! 1. Studies have always shown the quality time a working mother who spends less time with her kids is much more than not working mothers! since they are less depressed and more proactive. [b'>I'd be interested to see which studies support this point.[/b'> ScienceDaily (July 21, 2011) — Parents struggling to combine paid work with bringing up their children now have some positive news thanks to a new study funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) on maternal employment and child socio-emotional behaviour in the UK. The research shows that there are no significant detrimental effects on a child's social or emotional development if their mothers work during their early years. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/07/110721212455.htm edited by AnonDubai on 07/09/2011

So many of us mothers, might have stopped working full time if we were financially sufficient and could provide everything to our kids without working!! 3. How can i afford to live in a villa in jumeira, send my child to best school send her for piano, ballet, tennis classes if I didnt work! do you think if i stayed with her full time and instead lived in a small apartment sent my child to a ordinary school, no extra curricular activity ,would she or he be happier and had a better future???

If they pay you about Dirhams 35000 a month OR Pay for your housing and school fees plus 10-15000 Dirhams cash, i'd say go for it, otherwise dont even think about it!

I think we should respect people's opinion here. I think how much you pay your maid also depends on how much is your own income! If my salary was 50,000 AED a month I would pay 5000AED to my maid! and If I was paid 5000AED a month I would try to find someone who is ready to work for me for AED 500!! we should remember there are some people out there who need to stay here even if we only provide them a home and food since their condition at their home country is devastating! I am not defending anybody here , you know that there are laborers and cleaners here who are paid as little as AED 300 net! with a hopeless accommodation! I pay mine 1500AED plus plus plus, because I can afford only this much and if I could I would pay more to help her. she is lovely and very very happy. There are so many things in life that are not fair! and this is one ! that we can live lavishly and afford a maid and some people have to clean our house and still be happy! I wish we were all given the same!

Sara, what size did you go for and what shape of silicone, the round or the tear shape? is it looking natural? Thanks your feedback as a person who has gone through it means alot. I will be doing it very soon, probably in two weeks time! and my choice only based on recommendations here! Thanks edited by sima on 21/07/2011
