Hi I recently was disappointed with poor service at Table 9. Gaucho I love but pretty pricey. Pai Thai I agree is a great Thai restaurant. For quirky we like Aprons and Hammers on the Dhow at Mina Seyahi or Bateaux Dubai. And we love Traiteur at Park Hyatt.

I think you need to make it factual. If you go to your boss in an emotional state it will just look like you can't cope. Make a list of all of the tasks and the things that you have found wrong. Work out how much extra time it's going to take you put things right. And, document what training you think you need and how much time it will take. You can then approach your boss with a pretty good appraisal of what time they need to invest in your to ensure you stay they and don't leave like the previous occupiers of your role did. You will professional, efficient and like you want it to work. Good luck.

Mine is iphone 5 so I can't guarantee it's exactly the same but will be similar- Go to settings Then messages In there you can turn off iMessage if you want to. There's also an 'SMS' button. If you turn that on, it will ensure that whenever iMessage isn't available it will use SMS instead. Remember if you are on PAYG, SMS won't go unless you have credit.

It depends on where in Dubai you are going from. From Dubai Marina DWC isn't much further than DXB. It's very quiet in comparison and easy to navigate. My experience so far is that it's very efficient.

Hi I agree with what everyone else has said, if you can find the money, take the help. It is quite daunting and stressful moving them anyway, particularly if you are moving at the same time. So anything to relieve the pressure can help. Having been through it now using professional help I know that if I need to move again I would still use a service regardless of the cost, if I could.

Hi Ladies. Hopefully this will set your mind at rest. I am a travel agent so I called my contact at Zighy. I was told it's definitely not true that they are closing and in fact may be considering expansion. He may not be telling the truth of course but they are definitely still taking bookings.

I've had those teeny tiny ants too. In a high up apartment so I'm really confused. We already don't keep any open food so have no idea where they come from or what attracts them.

And if you go early and take kids...the minimum spend applies to them too!

HI I have two cats - age 4, brothers that moved here to Dubai from UK with me. In UK like here I lived in an apartment so my boys have never been outside and other than their own litter and their rescue centre until being 10 weeks old have never seen other cats/animals. I'd like to volunteer to take in cats/kittens temporarily until they are found new homes. I know their is a high demand for 'foster' people. But I've no idea if this would have a negative affect on my own beautiful boys. Has anyone done it, can you offer any advice? Thanks

Hi I'm Sarah from Travel Counsellors. And yes I did send something out about passport delays to my customers and contacts. Please share with all your friends and family that UKPA have severe delays on issue particularly of new passports but also some renewals. Not only ex-pats are affected, in fact many people's trips from UK are in jeopardy as a result. The only advice I can offer is apply as soon as you possibly can. And don't book any non-changeable travel until you have a new one. Because even if you have insurance, it's highly unlikely you'll be covered. Enjoy your summer holidays!

Thanks everyone, really useful. We just want to watch the rugby next week as a family where there might be a good atmosphere!
