There are a couple of gals on Bin Kitty who went and spoke with Mall Management. The lady there went down and said the animals needed water all the time, beds to sleep in and the big dog needs to get out and walk. All this has been done. Unfortunately, they cannot be closed but it does seem that they are trying to do the best they can by keeping the cages clean, playing in the play area and the husky (shame) gets walked at night in the mall parking lots. not ideal but, better than satwa and a whole other raft of pet shops.

Take a warm wet face cloth and rub it all over her, that will help get the dirt off and over time she will clean the rest off :) or, you can give her a bath which with a kitten, is quite easy. Make sure you only giver her water, not milk :). kittens eat a lot, depends on how old they are. Since you are feeding her chances are good she will stay there for the time being :)...bed is good :) Bin kitty will give a discount for a health check for her and hopefully someone can foster :)

Mrsmoo have you thought (or tried already...) to sit down with her over a glass or 2 of wine, without grandpa and kids around. Ask her why she does not like anything, is it that she does not like you lot, jealous of the time your father spends with you? tell her you would really like to know because you are trying really hard to please her and afraid if you don't you will not see your father. I sometimes find with people like this, once you acknowledge their behaviour in a very nice way, they some around and decide they are not actually left out and there is nothing to be jealous about... When she walks in the door, give her a big hug and tell her how excited you are to see her....that might just start the thaw...oh, and have the grandkids do that as well :).. Sounds to me like you do respect her, and are bending over backwards for her but...talk to her and bring it gently into the open, you might be surprised :)

It does not matter what is under his kilt. No one is going to look. My son travelled from the UK 10 years ago in his kilt and other than admiring glances no problem so I would imagine just stares and certainly not a problem. It is also a cultural dress and most countries respect that :) <em>edited by SueB on 16/02/2015</em>

The little Ginger went to her new home yesterday. First a major groom and bath :)...then this morning she was spayed. I would imagine right now she is in her new home being treated like a princess. She also has a lovely brother who looks just like her but much bigger. fingers crossed that they love each other, eventually :)......time is on their side :) She is going to be loved and not an ornament as so many persians here are :(

this beautiful Ginger girl is official up for adoption. Her owner never bothered to come nor call :( She is very lonely in a room alone. She is curious about my cat and dog, a very laid back cat. hi northernlights, she has been posted everywhere. Someone has claimed her but not making any kind of effort to pick her up :( At this point this lonely girl needs a family and if this guy cannot be bothered well, she will go to a good home!!!

Ok,I found the owners through Dubizzle. apparently she has never been outside so it cannot be your neighbours cat :(...but please send me the picture anyway. Long story short. The guy who claims this cat does not seem in a rush to pick her up :(...he was busy last night, this morning his app did not work and I am still waiting for him to show up for his 6:15 pick up time. I will not answer the door after 9....so.. she might just be able to go to a new home tomorrow. She is a beautiful girl. 1.5 hrs not spayed (which I will do before she is rehomed if necessary) primus.9 please send me a picture to see if it actually your neighbours just in case.

nope :( nothing. the most cuddly girl. Healthy :) have a few people putting up posters and doorbells..hopefully someone will come forward or posted somewhere that they lost their cat :(....this time next week, this lovely girl will be up for adoption :(.......

Found this beautiful girl this morning. She is a ginger Persian, lovely demeanour, very friendly. I am thinking she belongs to someone and is lost. she is not chipped. Found in Satwa. If you have lost her please leave a message. If after a week no one claims her she will go up for adoption. If you are interested please leave a message here as well. Thanks.

They know about him but they just got about 15 dogs/pups dropped in their laps today. No worries, the people that want help in finding him a home want to make sure he is happy and so do I :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolognese_%28dog%29 The lovely little boy dog, about a year old, has papers, vac etc. He is alone over 12 hrs a day :(. His owner would like to surrender him to a loving home where they can spend time together. He is a sweet boy, not sure if he is neutered. He would probably do well with another dog his size or any size for that matter lol....the dog is in the Bichon Frize family of dogs..a companion animal :). Please only serious dog people who have experience. thanks.

you know, at 22 I would travel. I would get a work visa and do that for 2 years. Then you might know where you would like to live :0....travel...once you have kids it will be a different story :). anyway, I am Canadian, great country to live in, people are very nice and kind for the most part, open minded, we are just lovely lol.. especially the Maritimes lol

The transport. The grandparents get a ride and of course the wedding party, no spouses. Now please send everyone a note with a list of the car rental companies in the area or airport :)…Tell them you understand their concern but not tone as the car rental companies are good. They could also get together and have a van at their disposal for the day :0… how wonderful they are that they are making the effort to find their own way to the church/reception/home as it relieves Dad of one less responsibility as he has so much on his plate now :)……looking forward to seeing you. You might also include a list of hotels/motels/b&B accommodation and make suggestions about the good ones. Relieve yourselves of the guest problem :)

nope, I have used them numerous times in the years and I finally said enough… their work is actually good but they lose things, lose orders, never on time blah blah. I would suggest that you go to their factory and help look for your cushions yourself.

What are the Taliban fighting for? is it to slaughter the next generation? children that have nothing to do with them :(…why…what is wrong mentally with these people. They are fighting for their selfish reasons, for power not for religion certainly….the religion they say they are fighting for condems their actions…so have these people lost their way so badly that they have forgotten how to be human :(

well if your mom is coming over to take care of her grandchild and is not 90 years old, I would assume she is a healthy woman somewhere in her 50's? yup, i would certainly not hire a full time nanny, i would also assume if she agreed she knows what is at stake lol…she will be tired yes but will be fine I am sure. i would be insulted I think, so I would hold off. We old people have amazing stamina, often more than the youngsters lol

buy your own chocolate or things you want. Why do you have to ask him? As for him calling you a psycho..that is just stupid, disrespectful, mean, thoughtless, inconsiderate, shall I go on? When he calls you names what do you do? I am thinking a marriage counceling session or 4 might be in order so you can voice your feelings in a safe environment and possibly the counceler will be able to get through his thick head. I would sure be keeping my voice heard, loudly...

probably removing the carbs in sugar is having a good effect. 10 hours is fine but you could try putting her down at 7p.m. read her a story then let her read her picture books in bed, lights out at 7:30. But seriously, getting up around 6 a.m. is quite normal. I would go for the earlier bedtime. but, don't count on her sleeping more. If she is thirsty offer her cool water rather than milk all the time, add more veg into their diet, veg with a bit of peanut butter or humus or almond butter. The sugar curbs appetite, that is why they are hungrier, fill them up on good food :)

yes it will show in the blood test :). Your friend and future husband need to just hope on a plane, go for a lovely 2 week holiday and get married outside the UAE.. then she can deliver here. I am sure there are a lot of brides who had a wedding planned, married and did not realize they were pregnant...just a thought.

I was there until end Oct and slept with the door open! woke up in the morning to frost on my nose (ok exaggerated) but big down duvet, blanket cold nose...awww slept like a baby..... can't remember dreaming though but I am sure I did.

Pass the word along, you never know who might want to do short term fostering or even adopting :) Dubai actually see cats as Vermin, not pets or even worthwhile (they kill rats and mice!! to start with)… I should be able to post a link with pictures in the next few days for people to pass along :)...

That is great news about the appt ;). I agree 100% with Beebers… now may I suggest that you prepare for this very important appointment by starting right now, writing everything down and portion size that you are eating every day. including condiments etc. Also write down exactly what you are doing for exercise, duration, what your working heart rate is, how out of breath you are on a scale of 1-10, 10 being totally breathless :)….these are small things but have big impact and the Dr. will be able to get a better idea of your life style when you see her. It can also be used as a benchmark for your starting a new lifestyle possibly :). I would say good luck but you will make your own luck so go girl…conquer this, you can do it.. make the commitment to yourself. You are worth it :)….

I have spent many alone, husband is a pilot but, then we celebrate the day when he gets back. Now, if there is not celebrating the day at a later date, Come to me!!!! and if I am also alone, we can be alone together!!!!! and have one hellofatime lol…..or…if he is here our house will be full and you do not have to be alone!!! come to us :):):)

Didnt realize January is the absolute wettest month in Bali...apparently, it rains a lot! soooooo after 5 days in Bali we might head to Vietnam for the rest of our holidays. Really do not want to spend our holidays in the wet or cloudy skies :(.....so anyone been to Vietnam lol

Thank you for your replies ladies :). We booked 5 nights at Rama Candidasa because our friends from Japan are staying there and we want to play, then moving on. Nettidxb, went to your website and your villas look great. Have not checked out the club yet. How far from Seminyak? Is Seminyak quite touristy? Mrssak, I will check out nusa dua as well. My friends are doing 2 days in Ubud and I hear it is quite beautiful there, not sure if 5 days will have me pulling my hair out though???? Tallibalt, we are looking for non big city tourist places but good restaurants, shops but not crowded. :) long beaches and fun gotta have a good bar or 2 lol..

I suggested the letter because she apparently cannot tell them :) and if she can't tell them, then they will keep doing it. I said to blame the husband because he is not happy about it and in this part of the world it might hold water where in other places it would be laughed out of the room :)…..but, if she is strong enough to tell them face to face and be real firm, then go for it :) lol

Possibly write them all a letter, suggesting that you are out of the money lending business because your husband is very angry with you. Explain that you and your husband work very hard to be able to save enough to get your own house and he insists that you do not give away your money (which belong to both of you). You can also suggest that it is wonderful that all the family is together to help each other financially and you are so glad they take care of each other as you now do not have to worry. Tell them how proud of them you are for working hard to afford the things they need and you know how relieved they will be to know that they do not need to make you feel needed anymore by asking for money they do not need. That should fix them lol.... Put the blame squarly on your husband, that is, if he agrees with this and has very strong shoulders to protect his wife from all the guild your family is dumping on you :)...good luck with that!!!
