I haven't seen them. What I do is buy the garlic from spinneys that is already peeled (whole cloves) and in the plastic container, then I put them it in the freezer. When i need them i give them a couple of seconds in the microwave and crush them with a garlic crusher into the sauce. I also do the same with their onions that are diced but put them directly into the cooking pot from the freezer. Something I would never do at home, (home is Italy) but hey, nothing is fresh here anyway! Happy cooking. :)

Just spent the day at the pool on a visa run, very nice, food was great and pool was lovely apart from the hoards of flies! :)

Thanks guys, I knew it would cause controversy this thread. :) I have a friend back home who's a nurse and does her own botox at home as she gets the injections from her friend who has a clinic! (ps the vial costs £30 to buy which does 4 areas, interesting huh? ) Thanks for the advice basilgarden, unfortunately I'm not looking to delay age, I am looking to stop lifting my eyebrows the whole day and have my head look like the M1!

I've only been here 4 months and my hair has completely changed. I think it's the water. I went home at Christmas and it was much better. I've had a lot of hair loss and it's a lot thinner than it used to be and seems to have lost lustre! I don't suppose there are remedies for that?

I need to find a villa pretty quick as my landlord is selling. I want to go to Jumeirah 3 or near there but would consider all locations. No school restrictions. Can anyone advice on a website for house hunting apart from Dubizzle as that's the only one I know and I've exhausted that! :) Thanks.

We've not slept in the same bed for 7 years, I can't stand the snoring!! Funnily enough we have a very happy marriage, so maybe they had it right in the 50's! :)

Strange you should title this thread "horse lovers"! I think it's completely barbaric what they do to these horses. Very tiring for the rider??? Imagine how the poor horse feels!

Sorry, just noted it is not legal to sell animals through dubizzle, so you'll find no ads there!!! If interested, please drop me an email on [email protected] My husband has one he is selling at the moment, very nice 4 year old. I have posted the ad on the classified section of the website and will post it in Dubizzle as well. The horse is stabled at Mirdiff - they have a lovely outfit there and you would be able to ride out in the desert to your heart's content! Send an email to the address shown on the ad on the classified section of ExpWom, so we can get in touch. Hi, am looking for a family/kids friendly horse for a friend of mine. Does anyone know someone selling his horse or pony and searching for a good place?
