They don't say where the sale is to, only says over 30 destinations. It is for everyone but they are giving skywards members the heads up.

I only buy chicken from organic store, Aus/NZ beef mince from spinneys/Park n shop or organic store and also meat from Prime Gourmet. The chicken from organic store tastes so much better, albeit Spinneys chicken may be juicier but that is because they pump it with phosphate to keep it juicy.

I did get some in Carrefour once, it was a pad of tracing paper, you could also try Dubai Library Distributors on Sheikh Zayed Rd, they do office stationary. Worst case use Falcon baking paper, it does the same job, depending on what you need it for.

You can get Tisserand oils in Park n shop which are really good. http://www.tisserand.com/ The ones in Organic store are good, but I think the Tisserand is better. (just my thoughts based on the ones I have bought)

You have to laugh really, how after 10 weeks can she come to the conclusion that it isn't going to work! She was quoted as saying "I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision," Kardashian, 31, continued. "I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best." Forever? She didn't even give it a fair chance! One newspaper said last night that they couldn't come to an agreement on where to live! Hello! wouldn't you discuss these things before you marry. Only they will know the real reason why it didn't work or maybe Kris will put it in her next book!

That price is per kilo and as Cornish Pixie said it is 20% off, 3rd sat of the month. I only buy organic chicken, there really is a difference (quite scary really). Their frozen whole chickens are quite reasonable, I think 45dhs a kilo. People on the board recommend the carrefour french chicken but from what I can see it's not organic, just halal and french, but I could be wrong.

My husband uses the rollerball refills and has never had a problem. We bought the orginal one at Festivl City and refills from Dubai Mall. Maybe take it to another store and see what they say, but that shouldn't happen with such an expensive pen!

Hi, My son needs braces and we have been quoted 25,000dhs top and bottom, including retainer. I have read lots of positive comments on the dental teaching hospital, but everyone that has commented is currently in treatment, or just started. I would love to hear from someone that has completed their treatment and what they thought, were you happy with the results. Thanks.

I don't, it's important that they get some Vitamin D from the sun and they are outside for such a short time. There is a major increase of people with a lack of Vit D and if wearing sunscreen all the time, this will bloack this. At our school they are out 20 mins in the morning and 15 mins in the afternoon. I just make sure they have their hat.

When I was at Park n shop al wasl the other day I noticed they had large crates of bread with Tecom and JLT signs on them, so I would say it's all baked there and then sent down to the other shops.

I buy the puff pastry squares in the freezer section. There are 10 sheets or 15 I think in a pack, you can get them in any of the supermarkets, packaging is black. They work great for quiches.

My son has orthotics from there and they have been brilliant. Maybe ask Michelle or her sister (can't remember her name) scottish girls as they have been in Dubai for years and they may be able to recommend some places to get shoes that will work.

I use to buy my Joico shampoo from Reflections salon on Al Wasl Rd, Umm Sequim area, maybe give them a call and see if they stock what you want. Their number is 04-3944595. I've since changed to Redkin as it's much easier to get.

I had my children's done here at the Dental Studio. I can't see any disadvantages at all. My teeth were done when I was younger also. Less risk of cavities in the back teeth, where children tend not to brush as well.

My sister saw a chinese herbalist and he also did acupuncture. He said she had bad energy in her stomach area and whilst she had this she wouldn't fall pregnant (she was also on IVF). She had a pulse which you could feel running through her stomach, her told her to only eat foods at room temperature and no cold foods at all, she also had acupunture I think once a week. I can check with her. She was also on IVF as both her and her husband had medical issues that made it impossible for them to fall pregnant naturally. I'm happy to say after 3 failed attempts, fourth time lucky and we now have a beautiful niece. I say try anything! I hear the Dubai Herbal treatment centre is very good, a friend goes there for acupunture. They have a chines herablist also. http://www.dubaihtc.com/Home.aspx

I don't know if there is an official rule. I know people that are working at TA's that don't have A levels. What schools have you tried? I did see in the JPS newsletter that they were looking for Teaching Assistants, mabe drop your CV into the school.

What year is she in? At school they teach them the term "inverse" which is sort of opposite. So when they have a missing number they do the opposite to work it out. Like 14+ ? = 18 The opposite of + is - so she would do 18-14 to get the answer. Sorry very difficult to explain over a computer. 2 x ? = 8 inverse or reverse of the sum would be 8 divide 2 = 4. Not so sure this has been of great help to you. edited by TimTam on 17/10/2011

You may be able to work in Foundation stage 1 in schools and this may pay better than a nursery. Maybe offer to volunteer in FS1 at school or get a job as a teaching assistant in FS1 whilst you are doing your course. At least you will be paid and learning at the same time. Teaching assistants in schools I know get around 4000-4500dhs a month, 12 months a year.

I know there is mixed reviews, but I love Jones the Grocer coffee. Food is great, I've had no problem with service, but others I know have. Went for lunch today and was served quickly, when I go for breakfast I go right on 8am and have never had a problem. I believe nothing is perfect in Dubai and consistency is a problem anywhere.

I have extensively looked into the course also but the times just don't work when you have kids at school. International house (IH) Intensive course is until 4.30pm each day and I don't have anyone to pick up my children. British council in Dubai also offer the course, Woolongong and HCT Higher College of Technology Academic City. All have the full time intensive courses except IH and Wollongong also offer part time over 12 weeks (evenings and Saturdays) These are the only places that are accredited by Cambridge University to offer the CELTA course here in Dubai. University of Cambridge is going to offer the course online in conjunction with International house, I rang IH and they said it probably won't be available here until January. From my understanding you do the course work online and teaching practice at International House (IH) http://www.cambridgeesol.org/exams/celta-online/index.html

The school should help you find one. I know at JPS they will advertise and find the learning support teacher for you. Do you need someone full time? Couldn't the school help at all? Maybe try Kids first medical centre, they may have some ideas, you could also advertise on here. edited by TimTam on 28/09/2011

Jones the Grocer near Al Thanya St/Sheikh Zayed Road do a yummy breakfast, I had eggs benedict there the other day and was really good. I prefer pork bacon but their turkey bacon was great with the dish. Excellent coffee too. Forgot to say they open at 8am which is handy. edited by TimTam on 28/09/2011 edited by TimTam on 28/09/2011
