Jax, I had two the same ages when I did DXB SFO followed by 2 connectors. Luckily they are now 5 and almost 3. You will do great!! Gina, pack lots of snacks that you know that your little one likes IF your little one is eating snacks. Snaks saved me many times. If you have an iPad Fisher Price has some free wonderful simple touch apps for the little ones. <em>edited by TinkerbellsMuse on 02/07/2012</em>

I am actually astounded by some of the reactions here regarding how acceptable most people find the arm of the law to be. astounded. That was actually my point earlier. The long arm of the law keeps growing beyond what it was intended in my opinion. That said, my sin is almost 3 and we chose to have him circumcised. My daughter is almost 5 and has her ears pierced. I doubt my son is going to one day be enraged when he realizes there was a choice. No other man i know has been upset about it. Others don't have to like it or approve because it isn't ther child. Nor do we owe an explanation to the world. Some decisions are personal.

I think it was MOE. You bought something from me but I don't remember what. (my name is Kristin and I have Reagan and Parker if that helps). Zahr El Laymoun is good and it sits right on the water if I remember right. There is also a great pizzeria called Urbano which would be great for having the toddler with you.

You and I met for lunch once. What about somewhere in the Souk Al Bahar with a view of the fountains.

I'm not going to debate this particular subject but I feel that too many governments are trying to mandate family decisions.

I can't answer the questions about DEWA and AC since we are in a villa though I can ask my friend and get back to you. There is no direct access onto the bypass road towards Dubai/Sharjah unless you want to offload for a few minutes. Lots of people do it. We've been there for 3 years and are quite content.

We aren't in the Meadows but being from the US I'm used to having outlets in all the bathrooms. My husband changed ours out for less than 30 aed at Ace and I can now dry my hair in the bathroom.

I do wish they could develop at least a mobile compatible site for browsing on a phone, even if not an app That would be great given all the smart type phones used today

Besides all of the obvious difficulties in actually getting an app to work/function with this site, there is the other side, and that is that EW is only concerned with bringing in viewers for their ads. In-App advertising cannot be controlled, so they would lose their advertisers, very quickly. True That Captain!! Is it safe to assume you are from the US? If so, where? Michigan here.

Add it to the wishlist... maybe we'll get lucky for Eid...? I wonder if anyone has a DH who's into tinkering with this stuff, I suppose EW would have to let them at the code to have a hope of making an app... shame... I'll get by with what I have now. I wonder if the browser you use on Ipad makes any difference, or is there no choice in it? Id have to try different browsers. It works well this way...apps just simplify things sometimes

Can't hurt to try! I don't think it'll work with EW (it doesn't 'look' like the forums that I know work with it) but you never know!! imagine if it did! :) Looks like you are right and it's the only forum I'm on so I won't be paying for it

Depending on if EW use their own code, or a pre-done bulletin board format, there are a couple of apps out there designed to enable viewing of forums on tablets/ipads... Forum Runner being one, but I'm pretty sure that's for a BB board withthe associated code (sorry if that sounds horribly geeky! :)) Not at all, prior to being a flight attendant I worked in computers... Have a friend and ex co-worker who makes apps and it just had me thinking

Just popped in to browse and saw this.................how are all your littlies now? Reagan is on a drug used for organ transplant and doing great. We are doing a slow wean to hopefully prevent a relapse and so far so good. Parker is thriving thankfully. They say you are never given more than you can handle but I'm skeptical. edited by TinkerbellsMuse on 01/07/2012 You certainly have had your share. Sending you all the very best wishes Trishx Thank you lovely lady!!

Welcome back! You are the lovely lady that made my DD a Barney CD, after I posted on her asking where I could get one! You'll be happy to know that we have got a lot of use out of that CD, as her brother grew into it too! now just waiting for 2nd DS to be old enough to listen! You also had a super fast birth of your son, which you husband was present at via Skype right? Awww jag! I'm so glad you made use of that music!! We use that cd as well still. Yup, 8 minutes from start to finish!

Hello! I remember you (I think). You had a little girl who needed to go home for treatment? Hey Sanddy, long time... I had the baby Parker, he almost bled out at birth. There was a large thread on it by Sophia07 and then yes, Reagan, my little one with kidney problems. Good memory!! <em>edited by TinkerbellsMuse on 01/07/2012</em>

I was TinkerbellsMuse back then as well. I'm still in Dubai, though currently in the US for the summer. I just took a 2+ year break because at the time it seemed to be mostly unhelpful drama going on and just got out of the EW habit. When I went to sign back in I found I was no longer registered...not sure why..and that my screen name was still available.
