send him a dirty sms today. he will be ready to talk to you. wouldnt that lead to being "up all night" he might not be game for it coz he travels and might be tired.

Well if you keep harping on at him about it, he's just going to get annoyed at you and not bother at all. You can't expect him to be switched on after a long commute and working all day. Just do your thing and leave him alone when he comes in to unwind. If you whine at him like you whine on here, no wonder he's not inclined. i didnt whine i just wanted to talk it out with someone....so posted it on here. what do you think i should be doing.

Looking at the two posts you are writing on , you would be better to have it as one as it is all related. Think you could do with some good medical advice and go on the pill as you do not want to find yourself pregnant in your current frame of mind. iam not sure,.....how you got the impression....i want to be pregnant! oh no! not at all......... by sweet talk i did not mean in that direction. is expecting your husband to say "hi honey, how was your day today" when he comes in from work....too much. or if he says..... would you want me to help? ......while iam doing something. i dont want him to sweet talk me to lead me to the "up all night" part. i just want him to talk lovingly to me. DH just walks in from work....says a "hi", i keep expecting him to say something nice. tried talking to him.....i dont know if he forgets. i feel kinda sad....when i keep expecting him to say something nice to me and that doesnt happen. its not that he isnt cheerful he plays with DD, and laughs, and makes her laugh too. so i really dont know....if its the tiredness or if he doesnt feel the urge to talk to me sweetly.

Yelling at an employee is unacceptable in any circumstances. Screaming at your husband?! Think you need to see the doctor for some more advice. There is moody that primrose oil will help and then there is outrageous oh no its not at that worst stage. the temperament strikes for a day...and then cools off. but that one or two days are like .... i used to take primrose oil, but used to take it like for a week....during my pms days. now would take it continously for like a month. Speak to the doc about a better boirth contol pill. Some make symptoms WORSE and some help a great deal. Good lulck oh no Iam NOT on a birth control pill.

Put yourself in his shoes ! How would you feel with that daily commute ? He needs looking after and stop feeling sorry for yourself, you help him and it will help you both. Life is tough. I feel so down! DH doesnt say anything sweet at all :( nor does he act sweet. :(( what do I do ? edited by Tweeti on 12/03/2011 i so agree with you. it is tiring and stressfull. but is expecting a nice thing to say too much. i stay at home all day with little DD. yes i have friends that i talk to but is that it....... i know commuting is tiring but i dont increase his stress ......and want him to take his own time. but this has been going on for a long time. when i talk to him regarding this. he just smiles....and asks me....what do u want me to say? huh! i feel hurt..... do i need to teach him wat to say? he got this job in AD after the birth of my DD. and has been like this ever since. my DD is 21 months old now. i have heard of men feeling left out after the birth of a little one in the family, as the mother gives all her attention to her little one. but i think it has been the other way around. i have kinda started feeling neglected. when i do talk to him he just doesnt know how to react? and i just cant teach him....what he has to say.

It's not necessarily about doing the things you should be doing. It's maybe the things that are unexpected. I feel for you on the commuting thing, it makes the men tired and grumpy. I get monosyllabic answers when my OH's brain is fried from a long day, so it's pointless talking to him until he's come in, unwound and de-stressed. i agree....that is exactly what happens at my end too. he de-stresses in front of the tv...talks to my DD for a few mins has dinner and then again in front of the tv....and goes back to sleep.

i have gone through a similar phase only to realize it was me whose harmones had made me over-sensitive ... consider that too ... and may be you should do something extraaa extraaa sweet for him in order to get it out from him ... may be he is just too distracted due to work or something ... HTH what extra extra sweet things should I be doing? I do everything I should be doing. :)

Tweeti, did you post the other day that your DH is never 'sweet' with you? Perhaps this is the reason if he gets screamed at every so often (which we all like to do at some point ;)) - get on to that EPO asap! i dont know if thats the reason. but yes, at that time every month. there has to be some issue in my life! Sigh!!! I am on to EPO

Not sure if thats the "wrong" way, but I take 1000mg every day, and it helped enormously! Try every day for a month and report back. Don't mean to sound condescending, but exercise too as much as possible, it helps release the aggression ;-) Yep will do so. Hope it works!

Do employers still question on 'why' you were out of work..... Considering...they are so many of them around now who were made redundant.

For the period x to x I was employed in one of the most demanding and rewarding (albeit not financially) roles of my career, caring for my child. This role was 24/7 and demanded high level organisational, multi- tasking and time management skills although I agree, this kind of statement just would look rubbish on a CV. Unless childcare is directly related to your career, don't include it on your CV... just like you wouldn't include a stop-gap job at McDonald's. You need to show relevance and focus on transferable skills. Demonstrate that you haven't lost your touch (either with the field or with your skill-set) and that in fact you've progressed in certain areas. I dont think anyone would write in on their CV, but yes worth mentioning when you meet them face to face.....dont you think. Or should I be adding a line on 'why' I was out of work for so long?

When my hands are looking/feeling tired I give them a scrub with olive oil and sugar before going to bed. It works beautifully. Maybe try it a few nights in a row. And you could wear some gloves too if u like, keep them moist. do you wash them after u rub it in? or u just sleep with the olive+sugar scrub on?
