Got my childrens done back in the UK in April as they had only 5 months left on them and was advised they could be turned away from UAE (Even though they are residents here!!) Was really easy went to Newport did the 4 hour service but they were ready in 3 hours. Re the proof of address - You have to call for an appointment at this time they ask for the address where you will be staying in the UK (all applicants have to be in the UK at time of application). They will then send an application form to this address so will be waiting for you upon arrival. I was asked to provide a letter from my parents (whose address I gave) stating I was staying with them plus 2 utlitity bills, I did take to Newport with me but was never asked for it ! Hope this helps

Had mine done at the salon on green community 2 months ago - I have thick frizzy curly hair - very pleased with the result, the humidity was making my hair awful now it takes me 15 mins to style and stays like that no matter what the weather - had colour done then treatment same day, had to wait to wash out for 2 days, did not change the colour at all - would recommend go for it !!

I have children there, can I ask which escape so I can also complain. I have found the school really safety conscious up to now in general, far more than previous schools we have been to.

I renewed both my childrens passports in Newport in February, was very easy and took 3 hours, they did add on the 6 months they still had on their old passports. You cannot print off application forms on the web for UK renewal but can contact them and ask to send to a UK address so they are waiting for you upon landing in the UK. One thing to bear in mind the applicant does have to be in the UK at the time of applying and you have to provide a UK address, they did ask for a letter from the person resident at the UK address, which I duly got and then was never asked for it. Hope this helps
