Gyms and dance classes have become very popular in the major cities with state of the art facilities in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. There is a sport club that will appeal to most; we have listed some of the more popular sports and their retrospective clubs:


Hanoi Cricket Club – not suren if it is still running but here is the Wikipedia page:

English Cricket Club of Saigon - Our members include English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, American, Australian, Kiwis, South African, Indian, Pakastani, Vietnamese and a few others. We are truly Multi-National and everyone is welcome to play, party or both!

United Cricket Club

Vietnam Swans

Hanoi Red River Runners
“The Red River Runners meet every Saturday to run through the fields and suburbs skirting the Red River in Hanoi, and on occassion we host time trial events.  We organise several community races a year including our December Song Hong half marathon and a 10km race which normally takes place a couple of weeks after the Tet holiday.
