It's THAT Hot in Kuwait the Floor Literally MELTED

For all of us living in the Gulf, high temperatures is part of the package we signed up for - especially when summer comes around.

After all, it's not uncommon for temperatures to reach between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius in the months of July and August, but 2017 has brought with it a whole new level of heat wave to Kuwait.

It seems not even hiding in your vehicle is an option anymore, despite assuming the A/C in there is a safe space to hide from the soaring heat.

Instead, the weather has reached temperatures SO high that someone was able to capture a video of a parked truck literally SINKING into the ground.

That's right - the asphalt became that hot that the tyres of the truck melted into the ground.

The video, which quickly went viral, was filmed on a day when temperatures reached up to a whopping 49 degrees.

Recently, in the UAE, the highest temperature recorded was 50.5 degrees Celsius next to the Liwa desert.
