When everything fails, a burger saves the say. No feeling can describe the satisfaction of a great burger and the disappointment of a bad one.

From multimillion dollar fast food chains to street sellers in every nook and corner of the world — everyone experiments with this classic creation. Those in the business can tell that this deceivingly simple dish is one tough cookie to perfect.

When it fails, it fails miserably. But when it succeeds, it can be a life-altering experience.

Speaking of burgers and failures, here are some of the many bizarre cases where the world seriously played with these juicy objects of happiness and failed miserably.

1.  Burger-flavoured ice cream

We’re all up for experiments, even with burgers. But mixing two world-favourite food items and calling it an innovation should be counted as a felony.

To mark National Burger day on Aug 27, 2013, Sorbitium Ices created a barbeque burger-flavoured ice cream. Strawberry sauce was substituted for tomato ketchup and bacon and pickled dills were used as sprinkles.

We feel sorry for the people who had to witness this disaster.

2. The burger that tastes like human flesh

With the amount of madness going around the world, we shouldn’t be shocked, but we are. The controversial cannibal burger was developed in 2014 – to mark the launch of The Walking Dead season 5.

The London-based creators Messhead (yes, they gave themselves an apt name) decided to create a burger patty including veal, chicken livers and bone marrow that replicated the taste and texture of human flesh.

Going vegan never felt this appealing before.

3. Cheeseburger in a can

Any burger —in fact, anything that says canned or frozen should also be read as awful and bland. While this product may visually resemble a burger, rest assured it will not — in any way, remind you of the actual product.

Anytime you go trekking, we suggest you stash cup noodles — at least you won’t have high hopes.

4. In-N-Out's 100x100

Now, we really don’t know who to blame here. The American burger chain In-n-Out who lets customers decide how many patties they want OR the people who ordered a 100-patty burger — all for the sake of curiosity.

5. The Lady's Brunch Burger

First of all, it’s sexist to restrict a burger for ladies.  Second, you don’t mess with doughnuts and burgers at the same time. According to American celebrity chef Paula Deen, if you want a burger for brunch, you put every meal of the day between two glazed doughnuts.

Her disastrous creation included a half-pound of beef, topped with bacon and an egg fried in butter, served with two Krispy Kreme doughnuts in lieu of a bun — we’re not sure whether to applaud or be repulsed.
