How To Eat Your Way To Skinny
No more wasting time at the gym.

"Count your calories! Eat less! Exercise more!” We’ve all heard the classic advice, and it seems so simple. But the fact remains: obesity is now killing more people than ever before. We know what the issue is and we seem to know the solution, too - and yet we are eating ourselves to death. What is missing?
I used to follow that classic advice. In my experience, though, it was far from simple. On the contrary, it was frustrating and gave little to no results. I spent almost every day exhausting myself at the gym with the goal of a toned body, but my belly remained bloated. Why? Because in between my manic gym sessions, I could not stop eating. With the wisdom of hindsight, I can only agree with what they say: you can not outrun a bad diet.
The turning point came when I discovered the Bulletproof Diet. This is a variation of a ketogenic diet: high in fat, moderate in protein and low in carbs. Starving the body on carbs forces it to use fat for fuel instead. The fat breaks down to ketones, which are molecules that restrict hunger and accelerate weight loss. This is the secret to how we can automatically shed weight without even setting foot in the gym!
Part of the Bulletproof Diet is to start the day with a cup of Bulletproof Coffee, with grass-fed butter. Although this mix sounded strange to me at first, it was a game-changer as it helped to turn off my long term cravings for sugar. I could finally let go of counting calories, restricting my portions and - thank goodness - my 6-days a week workout program. My new diet was filling, delicious - and my stomach started to flatten!
Moving our bodies is great for overall health but has limited effect on weight loss. If our goal is to lose weight, research indicates that we’re better off focusing on what we eat instead of torturous exercise.

1. Have (only) a cup of Bulletproof Coffee for breakfast. It’s filling enough to keep you satiated until lunch.

2. Have your next meal at lunchtime and your last meal six hours later. This will automatically make you fast for the other 18 hours of the day.
3. To enable you to fast with energy and no hunger, choose meals consisting of healthy fats, grass-fed or wild protein and organic vegetables.
An example of a meal is avocado, lamb or wild-caught fish and organic broccoli.
4. Avoid sugar, to turn off your cravings for snacks. A healthy dessert alternative is blueberries or raspberries.
