Emmy Awards 2018: 5 Looks We Loved By Arab Designers

Last night Middle Eastern designers lit up the red carpet in LA at the 70th Annual Emmy Awards. The red carpet fashion bar was set high, as stars wore collections fresh off the spring 2019 runways at New York fashion Week, yet the looks which caught our eye were from the region (of course).

Award ceremonies wouldn’t be the same without Middle Eastern couturiers, as this year’s Emmys showcased the best of Arab designers. From shimmery embellishments to feathers, velvet and embroidered sequins, we saw it all!

Chrissy Teigen shone in a silver Zuhair Murad Couture gown, whilst Keri Russell (dressed like a gothic angel) and Shay Mitchell (in a jewel toned velvet suit) also opted for the Lebanese designer.

Angela Bassett impressed in a standout look from Lebanese design duo Azzi & Osta and Tina Fey wowed in a plunging gown from Elie Saab.
