Last night Middle Eastern designers lit up the red carpet in LA at the 70th Annual Emmy Awards. The red carpet fashion bar was set high, as stars wore collections fresh off the spring 2019 runways at New York fashion Week, yet the looks which caught our eye were from the region (of course).

The MTV Video Music Awards have given us some of the most iconic red carpet looks since they began in 1984. This year's theme is "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,” which centres on religious influence in fashion, the exhibit will include designs from Coco Chanel, John Galliano, Cristóbal Balenciaga and pieces on loan from the Vatican.
