Met Gala 2018: The Red Carpet Fashion

On Monday night the 2018 Met Gala took place, as celebrities on the red carpet showcased a spectacle of OTT fashion! With the theme of “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and The Catholic Imagination" and a dress code of your "Sunday best" (amusingly on a Monday!), this year’s Met Gala moments featured some of the most fabulous, eccentric and embellished Met looks yet!

It was a fashion miracle, with Rihanna’s outfit resembling the Pope’s attire, Katy Perry dressed as a fallen angel and Blake Lively showing Blair Waldorf exactly who is queen of the Met steps –the celebrities certainly embraced this year’s theme. Standout looks also came from Middle Eastern beauties Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid and Amal Clooney in their stunning outfits –oh and Kylie Jenner made her red carpet come back with Travis Scott by her side.
