Spanish luxury house Loewe and Japanese animation team Studio Ghibli teamed up to bring the brand's most playful and magical collection to date.
Inspired by the cult classic My Neighbour Totoro, Loewe's latest capsule collection celebrates fashion with "dreamy serenity and hands-on creativity", according to Loewe Creative Director Jonathan Anderson.
Nature and, most importantly, themes of protecting nature, are at the forefront of the collaboration.
The new collection features loose t-shirts, hoodies, oversized shirts, hand-painted leather jackets, wallets, pouches, and bags fused with images of the movie mascot Totoro and the magical creatures from his forest.
He adds: "...Being at one with nature and with one’s own inner child [...] This is especially important right now and, I think, always will be."

What is 'My Neighbour Totoro'?
For the uninitiated, My Neighbour Totoro is a 1988 family movie produced by Studio Ghibli and is celebrated as a cult classic among Japanese animated films.
Set in postwar Japan, two young sisters move to the countryside with their father to stay closer to their hospitalized mother. The girls wander deep into the forest and come across nature spirits, including a creature named Totoro, who looks very much like a giant cuddly rabbit-cat plush toy.
The sisters go on magical adventures, with the movie playing deeper themes of environmental conservation and youthful escapism from the frightening reality of losing their mother.
My Neighbour Toroto became a timeless icon in Japan and parts of the world for its heartwarming animation, fantastical creatures, environmental message, whimsical soundtracks, and themes of family and fear of loss.
