New Dubai Hotels To Open In 2018

Dubai hotels which opened in 2017 included the impressive FIVE Palm Jumeriah, the highly-anticipated Bulgari Hotel and the luxury new Renaissance Downtown hotel, as 2018 is set to be another big year for Dubai hotels.

Opening its doors will be the world’s tallest hotel, the Gevora on Sheikh Zayed Road in the Trade Centre area. The new hotel with 75 floors will replace Dubai’s current record holder the JW Marriott Marquis hotel. Set to open later this year, the Gevora will contain 528 guest rooms and suits and four restaurants.

Pictured above the clouds, the unlicensed Gevora Hotel is 356 metres high which is three times taller than London’s Big Ben and 56 metres taller than Paris’ Eiffel Tower. It aims to provide the best of Middle Eastern hospitality with luxury exclusivity, fine dining and the finest staff to cater for your every need.

However, the Gevora won’t be the only new hotel opening in Dubai in 2018, as here are the other new Dubai hotels opening across the city this year...

#2 W The Palm, Palm Jumeirah

The first W hotel arrived in 2016, as the second will open its doors in June. Situated on the Palm, guests can experience views of the Dubai skyline and the Arabian Gulf. There’ll be a luxury spa and a focus on leisure facilities, with the region’s first AWAY Spa which combines a lively atmosphere with the ultimate pampering experience.

#3 Grand Millennium, Business Bay

Set to open later in the year, this hotel will be another addition to the growing Business Bay. The five star hotel offers canal views and 7 restaurants including a new rooftop Mexican indulgence. They’ll also be 251 rooms and suites for you to relax in.

#4 Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah Beach

Expected to open towards the end of the year, the five-star Mandarin Oriental on Jumeirah Beach will be the first of two of new Dubai openings for the chain of hotels. There will be over the water villas with infinity pools, nine restaurants including a pier-top restaurant on the docks and a huge ballroom. This one is definitely the most luxurious yet.

#5 Time Asma, Barsha Heights

Opening in the second half of the year, this hotel will have standard amenities and six floors, with one special attraction; it will be run by women. The four star hotel will be have a team which is 80% female, with ladies only-check in, beauty treatments, taxis and parking spaces. This is one for the girls.

#6 Rosemont Hotel and Residences, Barsha Heights

The two tower Rosemont Hotel and Residences is a 450-room and 280-apartment property, which will be developed on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road, in the Barsha Heights district. There will be a podium connecting the towers which will showcase an artificial beach and rainforest garden. That sounds impressive!

#7 Radisson Blu Dubai Waterfront, Business Bay

Another new Business bay hot-spot will be the five-star Radisson Blu Dubai Waterfront, which could be opened as early as next month. Situated on the canal front, the hotel will host a super club, a mid-west grill and a New-York inspired loft.
