Carrie Jaboor was on a Southwest flight from Orlando to Pittsburgh when she noticed a 1-year-old baby crying hysterically. The baby girl was travelling with her mum who was unable to calm her down.

"The mother looked so stressed and it just made my heart break for her because nothing was helping the little girl," Jaboor told Scary Mommy. "When I saw the flight attendant ask her to step to the back, I could tell the mother (and myself) thought she was going to get in trouble but then I looked back and couldn’t believe that he was blowing bubbles. It just made me so happy to see a flight attendant take a situation that could be construed as annoying [or] disturbing for some people and handle it with love."

Carrie then took to Facebook to share the following post. It reads, "My heart...there was a mother and her 2 young girls in front of me on the plane and the baby suddenly had a very loud crying fit that wouldn't stop. This Southwest employee asked the mother to come to the back of the plane with him. I looked back and saw him blowing bubbles for the little girl until she stopped crying as he was also giving tissues to the mother and consoling her as she was crying too. There are some seriously kind people in this world ❤️(and don't worry...I asked his permission to post this) ☺️"

The post has been shared thousands of times and other parents are coming forward with the acts of kindness they experienced in-flight as well. Many parents said they were going to bring bubbles with them on planes.

The act of kindness did not just calm the baby, it cheered up everyone around her too.

Way to go, Southwest Airlines!
