Could a roll of sticky tape really hide our frustrating double-chin? Apparently, yes.

It might sound like a whole new level of crazy, but Instagram beauty artist, Stephanie Valentine (@glamzilla) has shown how she hides her double chin using a neck tape. As expected, the video has gone viral with more than 18 million views so far.

The secret weapon behind her tutorial is Nexsey – a scotch tape like beauty product that tightens neckline by pulling on the loose flesh around it. The bizarre product is a brainchild of Linda Gomez, the beauty entrepreneur who earlier gave us Fullips Lip Enhancers. Gomez describes her latest invention as “a medical grade tape that allows you to decrease the appearance of wrinkles on your neck by gently and discreetly tightening the skin to create a more youthful appearance...it is the beauty of illusion!”

Nexsey retails at USD $19.99 (AED 74) and comes in a 10-foot transparent roll meant to be cut according to your designed length. The company page claims that the tape has been medically tested. We’re still in somewhat of a shock to decide whether we're impressed or disappointed.
