Thanks ladies for all your replies with advice. I am still very wary about the claim he has to appoint a letting agency as he is not a UAE Resident. I will contact the Rent Committee and ask their advice.

I agree 'God Save the Queen' is the British National Anthem Maybe, the reluctance comes from in football and Rugby competitions the England team sing the British National anthem when representing England (not Britain) whereas the other home nations sing their own country anthems. Maybe England should have their own country anthem too? or when England play Scotland should the same British anthem be played for both teams? Thoughts?

I agree all the football players should sing the National Anthem when representing Great Britain, regardless of which home nation they come from. I am Scottish and very proud to be British and am also very proud to sing the National anthem. Hi there. I recently purchased the cobone special offer vouchers for brunch at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Unfortunately, I will now be unable to use them. If anyone is interested in buying them at face value please let me know. I have 2 vouchers for brunch including full house beverages and fine wines for 209 dhs each (normal price 395 dhs each) I also have 2 vouchers for the brunch with full house beverages and fine wines including free flowing finest french champagne for 309 dhs each (normal price 550 dhs each). Vouchers are valid until 30th September.

Hi Loukoum......Yep, me too. Last 3 Shop and Ship parcels I've had delivered have all had customs duty and related charges to be paid. This is usually 5% of the value but then there is the customs registration (60 dhs) and customs admin charges (40 dhs) each parcel. This total then gets added to the Aramex normal weight charge for the parcel. So definitely something to factor in when placing an order.
