Heat Exhaustion Can Be Fatal For Dogs

This has been a hot summer in many places round the world. There are many dog owners in the expat community and it is important that we look after our pooches.

All dogs can over heat and the consequences from heat exhaustion in dogs can be fatal, it can even cause death. This is especially more likely in particular breeds (such as snub nose breeds). Our canine friends do feel the heat though they do not realise the consequences. Your dog will give you some signs if they are feeling hot like, excess panting, unable to stand or sitting on a cold floor to cool down. However it is best to avoid your dog even getting to this stage.
