Regarding malaria. The doctors there advise you not to take malaria tablets as to be constantly taking them can affect your liver. Different if your just visiting. Over there many people get colds and say they have malaria. But if you do get it and many do, they can get rid of it within 2 days. Very different to what we get told in UK and the likes.The best advice I can give you is there is a lotion called 'Medi Soft ' In a pink and white plastic bottle. Its very very cheap there, smells nice too and this the expats highly recommend against mosquitos especially if out at night.
