Thanks All.. Wish I could charter a plane and take all of you along with me to Oz and we would keep on having gala EW mornings, lunches and nights.. :) @TIGER... You too? Have you decided where you would be staying? I have been poring through domain.com.au and realestate.com.au? Looking for a good area that's close to DH's workplace and near all the amenities.. Would love it if someone I knew from Dubai was there... Please do mail me on [email protected]... xx Looking for more inputs on what to take there..

Calpol & Nurofen! If you use them at all for your little one, they are about one fifth of the price in Dubai!

Hey ChiggyWiggy, I'm moving back to Adelaide in July. I've also been trying to think if there is anything I want to take back with me but really can't think of much. I've been to the Antique Museum and picked up a few bits but resisted getting anything from wood there because the stuff appears not to be seeled very well and I know Oz quarantine is very strict. Over the years I've collected quite a few pashmina's which aren't as readily available there and definitely alot more expensive. Will also be doing a trip to my favorite clothes shops before I go. I'm also interested to hear what other people suggest. I'm sure when I get back there'll be lots of things I wish I had bought back with me.

Clothes from Forever 21, Topshop, Oasis & H & M, as these stores are not in Australia. Anything from Boots Chemist, which is also not in Australia. Designer handbag, sunglasses or make-up such as MAC. Many things are more expensive in Australia due to the GST but generally of a good quality. I'm noticing a lot of the clothes my kids have from places like H&M are exactly the same as the one's at el cheapo places like Best'N'Less. Obviously all made at the same sweat shop in Asia with different tags for whatever country they're being shipped off to.
