As most schools end today there may be people travelling to Europe this weekend.
Don't assume that because you are going to a country other than France, that you will not be affected by the strike.
Friends flying from Hong Kong have had their flight delayed by 3 days as they have to overfly French airspace!
May be wise to check with your airline if flying in the near future. I think the strike ends next Monday.
ps - Belgian controllers also walked out yesterday but I don't know how long they are planning to strike :(
