We are seriously considering sending our son back to the UK as a 'flexiboarder' in September. For many reasons, the school he is at here is not giving him the opportunities he needs and he is unhappy and bored. We have chosen a school close to home so he will be able to see his grandparents and cousins at the weekends so he shouldn't feel 'dumped' and the school is strong on sport, which is what he loves the best. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience of sending children to board, how the child coped, how you youself coped, anything I need to be aware of etc,. Any advice at all would be welcome. There was a thread on this quite recently which had fantastic input from the ladies. Do a search and it should come up
